You already tried using a different account. New one that is fresh to see if you can rule out audio issues being solely placed on your main account?

I have 2 different Activision accounts on two different consoles. I have tried my Astro A40's, my SteelSeries Arctis Pros, I've tried iphone ear buds.

I've also tried my 130w soundbar so loud that the floor beneath my feet vibrates from the sound of footsteps and explosions...

Yet there are still sounds I should be hearing that I am not. I'm putting it down to SBMM screwing me off my streaks coz this crap is only happening when I am on one.

Coincidence? Very doubtful.

Same thing here, My Astro A40 with amp doesnt give to me any foot step sound, even in black ops, but when I run or walk, Wow my foot step does a lot sound.  I tried many different setup but for now, nothing.

Its not all the time.

Its only when I'm on a streak... think I might try a third account, reverse boost it and see if I'm still having issues. That'll prove it once and for all.

It could be dead silence but when I watch the kill cam they are moving normally, they do not have the boost in speed that DS has.

I use the Sennheiser HD800 one of the most revealing headphones still to this day and sure enough when I am streaking or getting high up the specialist tree enemy's are silent.

The audio has other abnormality's, if a players starts to talk their voice stays where they started speaking from but the model is across the street now but their voice is next to you.

This could be part of the not hearing footsteps near you if they are sounding further away because of a bug which the voices surely have.

I played Blops4 last night, pin point accurate sound.

Thats what I originally thought but when DS is active, theres a kinda blurry outline around the screen and I've seen that in killcams before.

Doesn't explain someone shooting the claymore thats right by me with no other noise around yet I didn't hear anything. Whats the point in having defences around you when they don't do anything half the time.

The sound in MW is either bugged, or its part of SBMM. IF the whole hit reg patent is in the game, who knows what else is in the SBMM algo.

Other than the whitelist/blacklist features, is the main feature of this app to show you the IP information of the server you are connecting to?  Or does it somehow filter your connections more than duma os does on it's own?  Basically i'm trying to figure out what exactly this app's main functions are?

And in the port section do I put the port the game i'm playing uses?  for example for cod would I put 3074?

Main function is traffic prioritizing ports

The main idea behind this app is to allow those that have or want to experiment with putting specific ports in hyerlane. (Only that of the game server) which alternate on a per game basis, so I guess the main feature is automating a long process. The ip information is just a handy byproduct. So if u have a use for it then its handy. This app in no way effects duma os. Just automates a process u can do by hand

This app was made with cod in mind I have heard it works on other games. Yes put your source port in as displayed on cod connection info.

I just got done testing this for about an hour or two and it felt great. But when I went to look at my traffic prioritization all the ones I made are gone and the one it made for the lobby was there, then once I got off the game it was all blank is it suppose to do that?

It was requested previously for it to remove all hyperlane ports. So yes its deliberate. In my first app that I posted on another thread it only removed the ones I put in there. How would you prefer it?

kinda curious, do you have documentation for this or an api you used?? I'm very interested in seeing what yours all does and what can be done

I've yet to do any programming for routers but am very intrigued.

No documentation I used

Microsoft WinHTTP Services, version 5.1

And I used chilkat activx for some json.

All of the duma os features qos, device manager, geofilter can be automated. The ones u see in my app are the ones I have most use cases for Other wise they can all be a long process doing it manually. What can be done is to your own imagination, and ability. My imagination led me to what if I can get the server ip and run that ip in ping plotter and it just grew from there .

I think I like it how you have it. It makes sure it  prioritizes every match you get into instead of you having to make multiple of them.

Would be possible to add a feature that automatically only allows dedicated servers and reject peers?

I think that we all prefer dedicated

In the cod mw I have not seen any p2p. Just my observation.

In short no. Because I only extract information after it's been sent to geo filter, which means if i deny anything it will say disconnected in game and no longer search for another  duma os drops it at the firewall at a guess which prevents it from ever connecting, which is why it takes ages and keeps searching.

I have in the past games been able to distinguish between servers and p2p, maybe we could explore it more when the game starts using p2p
