  1. It's a hub I think, have you put the R2 in the DMZ, if not please do so and that may boost the speeds a little
  2. Are you having a similar issue?
  3. Hey, welcome to the forum! We use a different speedtest site to show your speeds on Benchmark and it doesn't always reflect what you get depending on where you are in relation to those servers. What do you get on speedtest.net? Did you disable QoS from the Congestion Control menu which looks like this ? Are ALL devices connected to the R2? What is the model of your modem?
  4. If Congestion Control isn't showing spikes for Ping Under Load then you're good, no need to worry about the other test
  5. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays & Happy New Year to all!
  6. We use a different speedtest site to calculate it - either it's not picking the correct server or there isn't a super close server to you. As long as speedtest.net reports correctly you won't be limited
  7. You're already approved, you don't get an email when it's done but take a look on the main forum and you'll now see the Early Access section
  8. I'll add your name to the list for when we expand the group
  9. That won't happen, we would probably lose money if we did that, R3 will come at some point but I couldn't say when - we're focused on software at the moment.
  10. You have access already: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/144-netduma-r2-early-access/
  11. There are instructions for TFTP here: https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-do-I-upload-firmware-to-my-NETGEAR-router-using-TFTP-from-the-Microsoft-Windows-Command-Prompt?article=000059634 that should get you sorted
  12. Ah okay, it must have been sold by one of the old testers, you won't be able to get updated firmware for it so it would probably be best to revert to the latest R7800 firmware so you have the latest security updates - the firmware you are on must be at least 4 years old
  14. Yes that's correct, prior to the XR500 it was beta tested using that model but it was never the plan to support the R7800 with DumaOS and as such no further firmware versions were made for it. Were you apart of that testing or did you buy it second hand?
  15. @JustinCase I'd recommend signing up for Early Access and then once approved try the firmware there as we have made fixes and improvements so it would be good to see you still have that issue and if it is the devs can rule out things more easily with you on the latest. https://forum.netduma.com/topic/39415-introducing-early-access/
  16. @JustinCase I'd recommend signing up for Early Access and then once approved try the firmware there as we have made fixes and improvements so specifically DNS was something we worked on so it would be good to see if that's still the case and if it is the devs can rule out things more easily with you on the latest. https://forum.netduma.com/topic/39415-introducing-early-access/
  17. Current existing firmware hasn't changed, we're currently conducting a small beta test for the 500 firmware, once we're confident with that the 700 won't be far behind
  18. The R2 gets features first so for example it has Data History and fully functioning mobile app which the 500 doesn't
  19. Have you tried the firmware in Early Access? There are a lot of fixes/improvements
  20. Thanks for the requests, I'll add your names to the list for expansion!
  21. Did you disable Traffic Prioritization? What does Connection Benchmark show?
  22. Thanks for your interest, I'll add your names to the list for a chance to test when we expand the group!
  23. It can work yes but you need to also have a device connected direct to the R2 to access the interface, it can't be accessed from the WAN.
  24. It's always best to make a topic instead of sending a PM/DM as we get a lot so they can be missed but we reply to all topics. As you mentioned it has been suggested before, I think at the moment we're very busy on new features that are going to help a lot, once that is all done we can maybe review this, I think the consensus was before that we didn't know how much of a difference it would make. I'll bring this up at the next meeting and see what we can do.
  25. I'd recommend signing up to Early Access: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/39415-introducing-early-access/ and once approved you can try any firmware there and see if that resolves the issue for you.
