Netduma Fraser replied to Spellgoth's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Great to hear it's all working now, thanks for the update! -
Sounds like a misreading on the console side then, glad to hear you're having a good experience, thanks for the update!

We'll make a note of your username for when we start adding more people! -

Quick question on ping to servers for COD
Netduma Fraser replied to purpleandgold33's topic in Netduma R2 Support
It's definitely worth shopping around for servers, not all of them will be under heavy load and like I mentioned, some with a higher ping on the Geo-Filter that you wouldn't think would play well might be better if the in game ping isn't that much higher. Playing outside peak times will be better as well although I appreciate it's not always possible. You're very welcome! -
Quick question on ping to servers for COD
Netduma Fraser replied to purpleandgold33's topic in Netduma R2 Support
To quote myself on this: Geo-Filter: Shows your ping direct to the server, anything on your side of the server essentially, including the server location, ISP routing, modem, router, QoS settings etc can affect this. In Game: Shows your ping direct to the server + processing delay - All games have processing delay but not all choose to include it in their ping calculation, CoD does. I would expect the in game ping to be 20-30ms higher than the Geo-Filter ping maximum. If the in game ping is 30+ ms higher than the Geo-Filter then it indicates the server is under heavy load (too many players online on the server bank), when this happens it's a good idea to try and force a different server. Even if the ping on (1) is higher, if (2) is lower overall than the previous server then you will have more stability and a better experience. Hopefully that clears it up for you! -
Hey, welcome to the forum! Default credentials are lowercase admin / password if not you hold the reset button for just 30 seconds, wait 2 minutes then attempt access again. There is no other way to access it where it won't ask you for the credentials and you can't use the USB port to upload firmware.

For this message a reboot fixes it, give the router a reboot, wait 2 minutes then access and see if it works

Setup the cascade option and select the option for passthrough as well on that page, that should then allow you to get an Open NAT through the R2
-

It depends if that IP is part of known VPN IPs, if not then it may work but there is no guarantee

Great to hear that! I've approved you for Early Access, you can find it here: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/144-netduma-r2-early-access/

Netduma R2 only getting 100mbps on a 400Mbps plan
Netduma Fraser replied to Jpostberg's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Thanks for that! As we have some time until Monday can you sign up for Early Access here: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/39415-introducing-early-access/ then when approved upgrade to the firmware in the Early Access sub forum, followed by a reset and see whether it's resolved please? -
Netduma R2 only getting 100mbps on a 400Mbps plan
Netduma Fraser replied to Jpostberg's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Thank you, that's a pure modem so that's fine, did you make this post while connected to the R2? Reason being we can see the IP address you used to post so if that's correct we'll use that on Monday to connect. -
Ah, that makes sense, Traffic Controller isn't to open ports, it's more of a parental control feature, so essentially you allowed all the ports which bypassed the blocking functionality of the Geo-Filter.
-
Could you download the DumaOS app for mobile, then play a game and see if the server appears on there?
-
You could always try a different VPN provider and see if that works

Could you ensure the R2 is in the DMZ of the modem if applicable and enable remote support in WAN Settings, then we can remote in on Monday and take a look -
Do you reboot the console after switching over the router or do you just reconnect? Could you make sure to reboot it then see if it appears properly on the R2 please

Are you using a VPN? Is the console connected directly to the router or are you using a switch/AP/extender?
