That's definitely caused by HTTPS, Adblock or potentially an Anti-Virus if you have one installed on your PC, whitelisting the router interface address should resolve it

Does it occur when loading the page or after changing a specific setting?

Firefox can force HTTPS as well, here is how to disable it, try again after that please: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/https-only-prefs#w_enabledisable-https-only-mode

If you're using a web browser Adblocker disable this, also your browser may be forcing the interface to use HTTPS so disable this and retry

Without an update it's not possible for us to change the feature, what is the issue you're having?

@Mostwestthanks for the feedback, you have made some good points there. For the Geo-Filter, using the Games Console service will allow it for any game if that game works at the time (excluding potential updates from us that are needed). Prioritization and Bandwidth Allocation are different, BA can still tell you're gaming, it doesn't rely on Traffic Prio. We're actually going in a different direction for getting all games sorted and able to be prioritized pretty quickly so we're a bit ahead of you on that one, we're going the DPI route rather than ports which is more specific.

Won't have been now but glad it's working. We were having issues with the tool to update the config which we were trying to resolve so seems like we may have got that sorted, I'll check with the team.

I wouldn't recommend trying basic, some may work but the vast majority won't, it's best to use the Advanced Setup, it's more likely to work. Could you provide the config you're using? There is no collaboration on our side that I am aware of, on the Netgear side it may be slightly more but as far as I know there is just a link for a trial and that is it.

Don't have any sort of timings for you but once 500 is done then that is a big hurdle preventing the 700 from getting the update so in theory shouldn't be too long after but won't be immediate

Stop using any traffic and then it should slow down to the point where you can highlight it but if it's doing that then it indicates that it is working - may be more a case of how you have added the device

Advanced is most likely to work (we need to update the configs on basic), could you provide your config file and the log you're getting as well as a screenshot of the VPN page after you've tried to connect please?

There is a limited amount we can do via the software but we're doing what we can We kind of already have the functionality for that but I don't know if there are plans currently to make this active For our customer base I think this is a bit overkill and would drive up the price quite a lot and exclude a lot of our customers as there are very few who have over 1Gbps Could you expand on what you mean exactly? You can make custom rules to prioritize ports currently

Some people say that they find it helps with lag compensation, it's worth a try if that's something you feel you're struggling with, otherwise no need

All 3 features can be used at once if you wish to, if you're wanting to throttle specifically and the TP rule is prioritizing then disable that. You don't really need to change BA just for gaming, it uses very little bandwidth and giving it more won't make it use it. As long as it has ~1Mbps then you're good!

Congestion Control is the easiest way to limit it, if you have Traffic Prioritization running then this will supersede Congestion Control/BA so might be what you're experiencing there

I would assume that's because it's a beast of a router hardware wise and so for the R2 for example you may need to throttle more aggresively than the 700 to achieve the same performance
