What about using speedtest.net, what do you get then? -
BT Fiber Xr500 Slow
Netduma Fraser replied to mnequest's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
The XR will still be in router mode, the BT Hub will handle PPPoE so you can then take out the PPPoE details on the XR. Then do the DMZ setting I mentioned previously and once you've done that check the speeds while connected to the XR. -
Depends how big your radius on the Geo-Filter is but nearby search is what I suggest you try first

BT Fiber Xr500 Slow
Netduma Fraser replied to mnequest's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Hello, welcome to the forum! Are ALL devices connected to the XR router or do you still have some connected to the BT hub? You'll need to put the XR WAN IP (found on the System Information page) into the BT router DMZ and that will help as well. -

R2 and BT Smart Hub guidance
Netduma Fraser replied to One Pint Johnny's topic in Netduma R2 Support
You would put the R2 WAN IP (found on the R2 System Information page) into the DMZ on the BT Hub. It is safe to do as the R2 has its own firewall. -
I've added you to the beta, upgrade to that version and see if you get the same issues: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/145-nighthawk-pro-gaming-beta/

Did you try on a different device to see if the same issue occurs?
-
Did you change the retries and see if that helped after a reboot?

RPC error `Error_Validation`: Network is not private
Netduma Fraser replied to b3llb0y's topic in Netduma R2 Support
The XR1000 uses the Netgear settings and the R2 uses our own settings and as such it doesn't have as many settings to change, I think you may be the second person to ever ask for this. -
What firmware version are you on currently? Go to the System Information page and then in the Rapp panel menu ≡ change the retries to 5, reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes before accessing and see if it works then please.

Netduma Whole-Home Mesh Wi-Fi System
Netduma Fraser replied to Tua PR's topic in Feature Ideas & Improvements for DumaOS
I love the idea, it would be great to have an ecosystem of products like this. We are a software company at heart so I'm not sure if this would fit our future plans but it's definitely worth thinking about, I'll add it to our ideas list! -
There are limited reasons you could be getting this error: Username / password is incorrect, either typed incorrectly or incorrect credentials used HMA are limiting the amount of active connections, in which case trying again at a later time or trying another server may work The whole config or the certificate in the config is out of date, in which case contacting HMA for the config files should give you the latest files and then work (they have removed direct links to their config files so if you're using files you got from there before that could be it) An issue with the server you're trying to connect to, in which case trying another server should work
