Ah have you been posting here each time through your phone? If so we wouldn't know it, if you can post here while connected to the router we'll have the correct IP to try and access from
-
They'll connect remotely using your IP address, although that seems to have changed to IPv6 which we can't use, if you could disable that and post back here I'll give them the new IP

Sounds like a plan, keep us posted! -
Yes it would fix it, we're working on this issue currently and getting lots of useful data to help us, I don't have an ETA unfortunately
-
It's going to require a firmware fix so I don't think there is much else we can suggest as you've done all the potential workarounds. We could do a replacement but it may happen again

Have the System Information page open, look at the logs then try to access one of the sites, is there an entry that appears at the same time? -
Sorry about that, the dev who would do it is really busy at the moment, as soon as he is available we'll get you sorted
-
Yes that will be why, yes a speedtest on the Xbox, just do something online and it should go to online if it's working correctly. Do you leave the interface open the whole time by the way? That could be why it's crashing. Thanks! I've chased the team and asked them to do it on Monday, sorry for the delay.

I've already instructed the team to do a Ping Heatmap update so once this has been done it should return - it will still be there for you to connect to using the Geo-Filter -

That's probably because it's disabling DPI. Can you disable DumaOS Classified Games on Traffic Prioritization and try again please? -

That's very strange, how have you got QoS set up normally? -

Please enter the details in the form and it will be sent directly to the person responsible for the cloud -
I'm not sure what else I can suggest at the moment as we've tried the workarounds and that should be helping. In DHCP Settings, reduce the pool amount, then reserve IPs for your devices with IPs outside the pool. So for example: Default Pool : 192.168.77.2 - 192.168.77.254 Changed Pool : 192.168.77.20 - 192.168.77.254 Reserved IPs: 77.2, 77.3, 77.4 etc then reboot the R2 from the interface and see if that works please.

If you could fill in the form with the relevant information that would be really helpful thanks! -

It is a beta so they may still change things, we don't tend to make a habit of trying to support products/services in beta as they're always subject to change. If you disable QoS fully do they load? -
Xr1000 devices keep disconnecting
Netduma Fraser replied to VVarrior's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Hey, welcome to the forum! If you reserve an IP for them as well then they're likely to be able to regain a connection faster -
Okay that's promising! The device should appear online when traffic is passing through, if you do a speed test on it does it go online? We'll need to look at that then, are all the other pages fine and its just settings?
-
Thanks for all that, the adapter should be fine, are you still experiencing those log entries now? How is the Xbox connected is it via WiFi or ethernet? Could you click the 3 dots in the top right of the interface and go to time zone please and check you have the right time selected? Sometimes having that incorrect can cause some odd issues. Also unpin all panels from the dashboard and then reboot from the interface please and see if you still notice the odd behavior with the device
-
@Private Greenie I think we should try and lock down the router/exclude it from the main setup and see whether you notice any changes in the logs. What is the ISP modem/router model? Do you have a spare router to put between the modem and R1? If possible connect all devices other than one PC to monitor the R1 to something else and see what occurs with the logs
-
No just to disable the WAN options on the R2 in Settings > WAN

On the iPhone can you disable the private addresses function on the WiFi connection to the R2 and see if this makes a difference please? Great to hear! -
Okay in that case that does seem to be the speed you are capped to using the R2 unfortunately. Try disabling all the WAN options and see if it makes a difference, if not there won't be anything else we can change to improve it.
-
As a test, please make a rule on Traffic Prioritization for the test PC: Source 1-65535 Destination 1-65535 Protocol TCP/UDP and then do speedtest.net via ethernet, what do you get?
-
I've chased the dev on this. Thanks for the info, did you have this on the previous beta version at all? Has anything else in your network changed? We're still looking into that unfortunately.
