  1. Revert the changes made by TCP Optimizer and see if it then works correctly - it's also unnecessary to use that kind of program
  2. Still seeing it so it's probably cached, PM me your public IPv4 address and I'll pass it on.
  3. Check the IP on the PC itself then check the Device Manager for the device you think it is, do the IPs match? What game did you select for the PC? Did you already have the game on when you added it?
  4. Could you have the error appear in English please? Could you record it happening via jam.dev please? That will allow the devs to see more information
  5. I can see an IPv6 address for your post - are you posting from elsewhere? I need an IPv4 address to give them.
  6. Most people purchase the router because they're having an issue with lag, however, if you want to ensure that your game connection is consistent then it would be helpful in that sense. I would just be aware that you may not notice much of a difference which it sounds like in your scenario would be a good thing - you wouldn't even know if the connection would have got worse as the router would cover you.
  7. Have you got the Xbox added to the Geo-Filter when this happens? If so remove it and check again. Otherwise switch NAT to Open in WAN Settings and see if that helps please.
  8. If you're not using the router to connect then you're better off asking ipvanish support rather than here
  9. It's very hard to give you a definitive answer without knowing what kind of issues you're having or what problem you want to solve, if you let us know we can advise further.
  10. For Halo because they made those changes to block Geo-Filters essentially, the only way you'll be able to filter for the game is to use Geo-Latency, you may receive servers outside your radius but it shouldn't happen too often.
  11. Without the Geo-Filter enabled there is nothing really restricting you, has anything changed in your setup/settings prior to you noticing this happening?
  12. Is it just on WiFi you're getting this or over ethernet as well? If both, if you connect that device to WiFi, pull ethernet, plug back in and disconnect WiFi do you keep connection?
  13. You'll need to clarify this for me: Ookla - Bypass Enabled - Percentages lowered = Full Speed or Percentage speed? Ookla - Bypass Disabled - Percentages lowered = Full Speed or Percentage speed? Waveform - Bypass Enabled - Percentages lowered = Full Speed or Percentage speed? Waveform - Bypass Disabled - Percentages lowered = Full Speed or Percentage speed?
  14. Just to clarify, without the Geo-Filter you're getting this issue? Does it give you an error message when it happens?
  15. That's fine then you should have a direct line to the internet through the R3, if you disable IPv6 and enable remote support we can try. They might need some more info as it seems particularly tricky, they might not but would be good to get you in that position.
  16. I think Safari forces HTTPS now which the interface wouldn't work well with but any Chromium browser should be fine. That could help with the issue potentially.
  17. If I've understood you correctly that is how it works, speed test bypass, bypasses your CC settings to show you your full speeds
  18. Try this: Split the bands, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _ See if the speeds increase after that
  19. That's quite a bizarre looking log, I'll have to pass that onto the team to look into further.
  20. As you're having it quite often I think it'd be a good idea to get some remote logging setup for the router. If your ISP modem/router has WiFi, set it up so that it is in bridge or modem mode, you can also use the DMZ. Copy the WAN IP from the R3 (found in Settings > WAN) and enter it into the DMZ function on the ISP modem/router. Disable IPv6 in LAN/WAN on the R3 and enable remote support in Settings > Troubleshooting. Then post back here from a device connected to the R3 when you've done that and we'll attempt to connect on Monday to enable it.
  21. In that couple of hours timeframe where it is working, are you changing anything on the router? What kind of web traffic is happening?
  22. What XR router are you using exactly and what firmware version is it on? If you disable QoS fully from the Congestion Control menu does the issue happen again?
  23. We haven't got full support for the game so I can't give you a full proof way of filtering it. They appear to be using relay/proxy servers which could allow for games outside your radius. It might be best to disable the Geo-Filter and just use it to monitor where the game is putting you.
  24. The ping to your IP even though it's better than I thought, fluctuating from 0.5 - 5.5ms isn't great and if that is happening consistently then that could be part of the reason. Not all game servers will complete the trace, did this one? If the ping was as consistent as you said and nothing has changed on your side then it is likely they've changed the route to the server, you could try and talk to them about it but it might be hard to get them to fix it.
  25. Thanks for confirming, were you downloading heavily at the time by any chance?
