xr1000 ipv6 keeps breaking
Netduma Fraser replied to FrankM530's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
IPv6 isn't a setting we've made/control so it'll be hard for us to answer this one - break in what sense? -
XR500 Latest Firmware Doubts
Netduma Fraser replied to CrAzY_V3t3rAn's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
You don't have to use a specific DNS, cloudflare would be good for example: 2606:4700:4700::1111 2606:4700:4700::1001 -
Do the steps I mentioned above and that will work
-
What is the model of the modem/router the XR is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the XR? E.g. XR in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the XR? Can you provide a screenshot of the QoS and Geo-Filter page please? You're not receiving any packet loss (bottom graph is the one to focus on), hard to tell without the scale on the left but ping generally seems low, it does fluctuate but can't tell by how much and you do have a spike though its not huge so could be QoS needs to be fine tuned.

XR500 Latest Firmware Doubts
Netduma Fraser replied to CrAzY_V3t3rAn's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
On the IPv6 page there is an option to get the DNS servers from the ISP automatically, if that's not working then you can enter them manually. Once you've done that see if you get open. -
If you do the tests in the other topic I mentioned that'll help me determine what is happening
-
Yes there has been for a little while now, I've given you access: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/

The R2 has AC WiFi rather than AX WiFi on the R3, the hardware is better on the R3 but in terms of what you would notice that's the main hardware difference
-
Great to hear that, thanks for the update!
-
We don't sell the R2 anymore so you'd only be able to get it second hand, which means you wouldn't have any warranty with us in case anything went wrong so I'd suggest the R3 personally.
-
It won't stabilize every single match that is normal so don't expect 100% reliability but we'll look into having it work more often if possible.
-
There are no game servers in Switzerland so you won't get a game there, you'll need to cover another server. Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager (if on PC) Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works better.

Nothing yet unfortunately but we're still trying

Polygon mode not working for xdefiant
Netduma Fraser replied to Cajun72's topic in Netduma R2 Support
So it's actually connecting outside the radius? What does the symbol for the server look like when you're connected to it? -
It shouldn't be putting you in servers far away but it might be blocking you from getting a game which we're looking into, they may be using proxies/relays which makes it more difficult

Polygon mode not working for xdefiant
Netduma Fraser replied to Cajun72's topic in Netduma R2 Support
No I don't think that would have affected it, what is the issue exactly? -
Move your home location/reduce the radius size so milan isn't included
-
Realistically it shouldn't make any difference, the perceived difference should be minute at best but yes in theory that could be what is happening.
-
Ah interesting, are you using PPPoE, VLAN or IPv6 by any chance? If so that's probably why, if you have the ISP modem/router handle that instead then QoS would work better.

Request for 4.0.179 (Early Access Firmware)
Netduma Fraser replied to Chaiyoabc's topic in Netduma R3 Support
It would be better to make your own topic for this. In that topic, while connected to the router via a Windows PC, open command prompt, type ipconfig press enter and then post a screenshot of the results there please. It needs to be requested, you have access now -
Polygon mode not working for xdefiant
Netduma Fraser replied to Cajun72's topic in Netduma R2 Support
If it doesn't work for you, it's not as simple as CoD to filter, seems they're using proxies/relays so may take longer to get working on our end. -
We're looking into currently - it's not as simple as CoD to filter, seems they're using proxies/relays so may take longer to get working.

NetDuma R2 Firmware 3.3.280 / Wifi Dropping
Netduma Fraser replied to slackchain's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Try: Experiment with the widths Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _ Sounds weird but if it's close to a microwave that will cause it to disconnect -
Is the new firmware not out yet?
