  1. So since Destiny 2 moved from Battle-net to Steam, I've reconfigured a lot of my settings. The list below is my current config along with the order I preformed each change (ascending). Changed my "PC" device from XBOX to Computer in the device manager menu. Flushed the Cloud. Reset my computer Set distance to 600 miles Set Strict mode = on Set Auto Ping Host = on Set Ping Assist = 30 (ms) Set Fast Search = off So far with the above settings I've noticed longer queue times although some what of a better connection overall; yet I still see people not blocked outside of my desired mile range. And the Auto Ping Host only shows details while match making, and then goes null once the match making ends/match starts; previously prior to the move to Steam the Auto Ping Host would show details through the match, not just during match making. Also I would like to note that I stay in spectating mode until I reach orbit in game (Destiny 2), then I will toggle Filtering mode on & then select whatever PvP/PvE mode to start match making. I never toggle filtering on prior or while Destiny 2 is loading characters.
  2. Hello, I am looking for assistance with configuring my XR500 router to get an Open NAT type for CoD Warzone as my NAT type is reporting as Moderate. Here is my current network path: PC > Switch (Netgear GS316 Unmanaged) > Router (XR500 (AC2600)) > Modem (Netgear CM1000). XR500 firmware is V2.3.2.56. If it matters, Cat6 cables connect each device. I have attached screen shots of my current port forwarding rules config for Warzone. And yes, my PC has a static IP address. Currently have QoS turned off as having it on didn't allow WiFi calling for my iPhone X (separately, has this been fixed? I heard that v3 beta might have a fix for this) My Geo-Filter config is completely default, I've never touched it. Nat Filtering in the WAN Settings is set to Secured. I tried setting this to Opened, but it didn't seem to help so I reverted it back to Secured. For reference, here is Activision's documentation for CoD port forwarding: Ports Used for Call of Duty Games (activision.com) I followed this post for port forwarding instrcutions: Ultimate NAT Guide and settings for XR500 - NETGEAR Communities Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
  3. I went through the DCHP setting and added a reserved IP for all of my devices. I didn’t do anything crazy; I just listed from 192.168.77.2 through 192.168.77.8 I applied settings and when I restarted my computer now it is saying its connected but “no internet”. My computer is hardwired to the router. Please help, now I have no internet and I can’t even access the DumaOS config.
  4. I did what I read on a guide. I changed the pc in device management to PlayStation and chose Manual. Since choosing call of duty PC doesn’t have Geo filter but when I’m searching for a game of Cold War I cannot find a single game. I’m trying to use the same server/radius that works for me on my PlayStation. am I missing any settings or done anything wrong?. I’m just wanting to use the same settings/server I use for my PlayStation on my pc. Thanks.
  5. I've always wondered how the streamers can find lobbies with "noob" players and now what i know is that by using a Netgear you can trick the SBMM and find easy lobbies (but i'm not 100% sure). I don't like to play always competitive on Warzone or Multiplayer matches, i prefer to play quiet. What i'm asking is (if possible) how did i need to setup my router in order to get those easy lobbies? I have a Netgear XR500
  6. Hey DumaFam! My name is Kirneill from SenseQuality and I optimize Professional Players/Streamers/Influencers. (Some of you You might know me from my old name SweatPapi) I just wanted to show my appreciation to the DUMA family and answer some questions you guys might have 😊 To give you a summary, we Optimize almost everything. PCs, Networks, Streams, even Residential Construction. I got lucky as Call of Duty switched to online + Before we started, A lot of people (outside of us nerds🤓) didn't believe in Optimization. The secret to Optimizations? I'll tell you: I don't know everything & I never assume someone's situation is the same. (It never is) This approach leads to better decisions, research, and results. That's pretty much it😊 Why do we recommend DumaOS? Because even though we work with almost all advanced routers (OpenWRT, PFSense,Etc.) , we recommend DumaOS as it's user friendly and people can use it after we finish optimizing them! (Ex: Geofilter) Duma focuses on delivering a user friendly environment and it saves us a lot of explaining while providing the same value than other routers. (AT A LOWER COST, WUT?)🤣 To me, It's about delivering the best most consistent experience! Here is examples of Optimizations: JOEWOE.mp4 So Ask Me Anything and i'll do my best to answer! I appreciate all of you!

  8. Hi All I have had my R500 running with ports forwarded for my PS4 for a long time and my R1 before that. I have always been able to get an open NAT this way. Having bought myself a PC and wantign to enjoy some of the benefits of PC gaming I trieds to get the PC ports forwarded also following advice from on here and youtube. Unfortunately I am still struggling with a moderate NAT. CAn anyone help? These are the PC ports I have forwarded TCP: 3074,27014-27050 UDP: 3478,4379-4380,27000-27031,27036 UPnP is on as it is with the PS4. I should also note that my PS4 is also still set to be port forwarded and that my geo filters for both console and PC are set to spectate. HELP :) Thanks
  9. I am having issues connecting to games on UNO on PC. I know that issue is with Hybrid VPN due to the fact that I have no issues if I turn it off. Uplay requires the following ports so I have setup the VPN to not apply to those ports: TCP: 80, 443, 13000, 13005, 13200, 14000, 14001, 14008. Doing this has worked perfectly on every other game I play but not with UNO. The setup next to my device in Hybrid VPN looks like this: TCPUDP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (80:80) TCPUDP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (443:443) TCP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (13000:13000) TCP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (13005:13005) TCP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (13200:13200) TCP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (14000:14001) TCP - Source Port (1:65535) - Destination Port (14008:14008) As of right now the only solution I can see is to turn the VPN off when I want to play UNO which I would obviously prefer not to do. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
  10. So it's like partially working for PC by selecting xbox even though I'm on PC. Secondly even if I ban the server it doesn't disconnect me. For example, if I'm playing on Black Ops 3 and I ban the server mid game I will get a connection timed out but in here I stay connected. Lastly and most importantly there is a huge discrepancy in ping (see attached photo). On the geo-filter it shows around 4-10 ms but in game it shows 44 and I get spikes nearly in the 150 ms range which is a lot for my connection. I always have a smooth game in black ops 3. The server I connect to is in New Jersey area. This seems to be more around Washington DC area which is fine but I don't see how the pings can be vastly different. When the duma shows me 30-35 ms, ingame on PUBG that's when I hit around 120-150ms. I did a tracert and maybe the duma is doing a straight ping to the server while the game is routing me through multiple that are outside my geo-filter but even still if I ban it shouldn't it disconnect me?

  13. Hello I was curious to what settings i can use to best optimize overwatch on the PC. First off in the host filtering what default setting and or port(s) do i need to use. Second would i use the same settings for hyperservice. Are there any profiles i can download that optimizes overwatch? Lastly is it possible or beneficial for me to use any services like haste, wtfast or pingzapper? Also why don't i see any stats on Host History? Thanks:)
  14. Hello everyone, I'm tired of seeing my 75ms+ ping on RB6 PC as I have a connection with 60 down and 6 up. My ping in speedtest is 24-30ms and I have optimized Netduma router settings. I disabled iPV6 and other things that decrease network speed especially multicast snooping. So it's not an issue on the settings side of things. I was able to have RB6 on PS4 always send me to a server in North Carolina which helped me stay at 60ms or below on PS4. However, I have noticed that I have no use for the Netduma since I've transfered to PC. I'm wondering if there's a way for my to get ping assist or host filtering to work on Rainbow Six Siege. I tried to enable the PC on the GeoFilter with the Xbox Live service as I have no clue how to use the advanced option. I enabled the CoD Ultimate Profile as it worked in many FPS games on PS4 for me, and I also tried to set the home location to my state and set the geofilter to a good location yet my ping remains the same if not worse. The geofilter is in fact in effect. I just don't think ping assist is doing its job as the CoD Ultimate profile didnt result in any good results. The geolocation is not doing good so I would like to enable the CoD Ultimate profile and set the ping assist so that it connects me to a server with that ping range, but it doesn't seem to work as I join lobbies with worse ping. Looking forward to your guy's tips and guidance!
