We're testing a cloud update currently, I appreciate it's not ideal during the beta to have it not work correctly but we only have limited time to test it - even less so given working hours, we don't commit to having full compatibility during the beta because it's always subject to change but it does allow us to have day 1 support on release. For PC you may need to switch it to a console in the Device Manager instead and then it may work better.

If it's not working well for you currently best to disable the Geo-Filter and enjoy the rest of the beta as much as you can prior to release.

There is an incoming cloud updated that should rectify this, it's being tested now -
NEW XR700 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.363

I get you, that's why we have a singular option for the console to prioritize everything on it as it's quite hard to distinguish what specifically was being done on the console, at least it was at the team, we've got better at that detection on DumaOS 4. -
BLACK OPS 6 BETA + NEW WARZONE AND FULL GAME RELEASE
Netduma Fraser replied to iOrcus's topic in Call of Duty Support
Do you have any servers in your allow list at all? Resync the cloud from the map menu, you may be on an old cloud version -
There are many servers clustered in the same locations, it would take you a long time to block them all to filter that way, better to use the radius to do so. The connection needs to be severed completely, if you're playing on PC this would include closing the game client, game pass, steam etc from the system tray. Where are you actually testing the speeds? Disable the protection options in troubleshooting settings, that can boost the speeds. We don't have instant replies but we will reply when we can, including out of hours/weekends.

We don't generally have full support during betas but it's good to help us with day 1 support when the game releases.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang
Netduma Fraser replied to Jeofel08's topic in New Games for the Geo-Filter
I have been assured it's in the archives for testing, there was a big update we needed to get done and so he should be able to focus on the less played games like these shortly -
There are plans to merge the two features in future yes, as you can imagine it's quite a big job and would need to be done carefully and if we can't do that we may not do it but if we can don't expect it soon
-
Still applied, no changes there

I'm surprised about UPnP. Where are you testing the speeds, the router speed test or speedtest.net for example? Disable SmartBOOST fully for the menu then re-test, what do you get? You can (though that's not the intended function), you have to restart the game first if you make any changes to the Geo-Filter.

We will be removing that cap a later date yes. I'd suggest testing with downloads while following: https://bit.ly/bufferbloat-test start with a high value e.g 95%, test, decrease 10%, test, decrease 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good, then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. Important to note that Download/Upload on CC don't have to be the same value & you may have a better experience with differing values. This is more of a real world test as you're actually doing traffic you would normally do.
-
It would be the WAN IP in this scenario or as above, the IP the main router gives the R3 - they would be the same, just depends which is easier for you to access and check
-
I checked and I don't think we're allowed to have those channels in the UK which probably contributed to the decision as well given we wouldn't legally be able to test them. I'm sure there are ways around it though (I'm not a dev) so I will request it
-
Would you be able to get a recording using https://jam.dev if possible? That would be really helpful
-
Of course, what is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode. Are ALL devices connected to the R3 or are some still connected to your modem? Have you set the expected 1000/1000 speeds into the router? Why aren't you using UPnP exactly? How are you not using SmartBOOST, you just removed any of the rules? How do you have Congestion Control set in Ping Optimizer > Advanced?

BLACK OPS 6 BETA + NEW WARZONE AND FULL GAME RELEASE
Netduma Fraser replied to iOrcus's topic in Call of Duty Support
That icon indicates a whitelisted server which would be the Irish server required for online play, there would be another icon showing that would be the game server but yes please do. -
Not that I can see specifically, could you provide a screenshot of the rules you've made please?

Black Ops 6 Beta Geo-Filter Is Broken
Netduma Fraser replied to Uzumaki619's topic in Call of Duty Support
It's an incorrectly whitelisted server, a cloud update will be deployed to resolve it, we hope to have it in for the beta but we don't generally support betas as they're always subject to change and we don't have much time to verify any changes. -
The max channel available is 128, I think this is the max NG allow as well which was what our decision was based on I think, I can request higher channels if they comply with individual country laws and the router has the power to provide it.
-
Most likely we'll post it directly on the forum, we'll let people know one way or another
-
Sorry to hear you've not had a great experience so far, this is a common starting issue and usually very easily resolved. I have added you to Early Access as requested and you do have a response regarding game pass with PC that someone else responded to. I can see you've emailed as well so I'll reply to you more fully there.
