  1. You can put the videos here or explain the issue, likely settings can be changed to resolve that. Why do you need to reboot/reset before you use it? We can't diagnose based off feel so what is your ping on the Geo-Filter/in game? Does it spike? How have you setup Congestion Control & SmartBOOST specifically?
  2. Depending on what you're playing this can be due to the game processing delay which we can't calculate, not all games choose to include it in their calculation but some do like CoD historically
  3. Could you explain the issues you're having exactly? Then I can best advise
  4. Was there a power surge or anything like that at the time? Unplug the router from power for 24 hours, plug in, then wait 4 minutes before accessing and see if you can get internet. It may seem excessive but we have seen routers come back to life doing this.
  5. You can see the terms here: https://netduma.com/terms/ if you have your order number I can look into your warranty eligibility. I don't think the router is faulty as of yet, I'd have to have more information before I could say either way.
  6. Sign up for Early Access: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/39415-introducing-early-access/ and we can get you on that firmware to see if it works better then. It's been too long since you purchased to return for a refund.
  7. Thanks for this, I'll pass it on. I've also given you Early Access so you can see this topic: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/56332-r3-disconnections/ where the devs are actively trying to get remote access to routers when the issue happens so they can diagnose more so please consider posting there when it happens/keep any eye on the topic for up to date news direct from the devs on the issue.
  8. There isn't any reason from the router perspective why this would happen unless you disabled DHCP. If you try with different/new ethernet cables do they work?
  9. When did the issue start, after updating, changing settings etc?
  10. There won't be any more feature updates but we will do some more bug fixes updates from what I've been told
  11. What game are you playing exactly?
  12. I suspect that is more of an issue with HVPN and other features working optimally together which is something we're looking into currently - if you disable HVPN I think it would behave as normal
  13. That's fine, the speed test isn't always going to be pin point accurate but it doesn't mean the router is limiting you - check speedtest.net for example, I think you'll see more consistent results there
  14. We don't do that no, we're aware of the issue though and looking into it so should have a permanent fix soon
  15. You can only use Game Optimiser/DumaOS by subscribing to the monthly service via Telstra, there is no way to install this manually. If you want a DumaOS router you would need to purchase one that has it installed such as our own Netduma R3.
  16. You can see the terms here: https://netduma.com/terms If you want to pursue it or have any questions on it you can email [email protected] about it
  17. Sounds like you have WiFi connected on your PC at the same time, disable WiFi entirely on the PC and see if that fixes it.
  18. What do you mean it kicks them out exactly?
  19. That's really weird, a double NAT always indicates the modem isn't setup to pass traffic directly through to the router so it will be something on the modem side causing it. Might be worth contacting your ISP about it, they may be able to link up an update on their side with the issue happening for example.
  20. We need to diagnose that is the case before we can approve a replacement, as an IT professional I'm sure you can appreciate allowing people to determine they're eligible for a replacement themselves is a recipe for disaster. Can you explain more about what you mean by it's died? When this occurred? What happened prior etc.
  21. Are you referring to A+ on Connection Benchmark? Bufferbloat occurs when your connection is saturated, with Congestion Control active that can't happen so I wouldn't worry about the values too much. Every connection is different, some people may require even more throttling for a value that low. Just set it to Auto Enable so it only applies when gaming.
  22. It might be worth doing at least once if the issue happens again just to see if it does help
  23. That's great to hear, thanks for the update! Added
  24. You've not got the run-around, I mentioned to you that we've moved to using a distributor recently and we're looking into it, once I know what has happened I'll send you an email.
  25. In theory yes you could do that as long as the connectors are correct, I believe someone has done that in the past and noticed an improvement
