  1. Internet Explorer is very old so any modern browsers like the ones you mentioned will work
  2. Are you doing an update where it looks for the latest and installs itself or where you've manually downloaded/uploaded the firmware to it?
  3. No not currently, it's still on our list to implement
  4. What issue are you having specifically? Should just be a case of connecting them together
  5. Excellent well done! There is more work we need to do on HybridVPN. I removed /32 from your config as that was the only thing different between the two
  6. Try this instead: [Interface] Address= 10.5.0.2 PrivateKey= <PrivateKey> ListenPort =51820 dns = 1.1.1.1,1.0.0.1 [Peer] PublicKey= <PublicKey AllowedIPs =0.0.0.0/0 Endpoint = br75.nordvpn.com:51820
  7. It is an authentication server required for online play, it is not a game server and will not affect your game ping, that's why it has been whitelisted and unable to be blocked. The server in Europe is your game server.
  8. Could you make sure your R2 is accessible, so in DMZ of modem/router, remote support in WAN Settings, then PM me & @Netduma Liam with the ARP entries you want and we can see if the team can do that for you
  9. Try upgrading or downgrading to the above firmware from the Adv Settings there, followed by the reset sequence
  10. Very strange, the routing changes, do keep us posted, certainly a unique issue here
  11. So the Xbox appears greyed out showing Do NOT VPN these services? We don't have any particular recommendations, you don't have to use Wireguard, I understand why you would want to for the faster speeds but if you're just using it while gaming then it's not necessary, gaming uses ~1Mbps maximum
  12. Ahh well done, there are some fixes surrounding IPv6/DNS that we're working on. How have you added the console to the VPN page? Sometimes when that happens changing server or even provider works as I think they may ban some of the more popular providers.
  13. Speedtest.net is using a different server to your first good ping so if you switch it to use the normal server what ping do you then get? Can you show the traceroute for the good ping as well please so we can compare - although we don't control the routing your ISP uses and ping is good from the R2 to the modem
  14. I can't see why that would have made any difference to the IP address amount of any devices, did it at least get rid of the unknown device? The ISP modem should either be in bridge mode or have the XR WAN IP in its DMZ ideally.
  15. I'd recommend using VM in router mode with the XR in its DMZ, that's what I always did and found it to be more stable. By don't have WiFi do you mean it doesn't appear in WiFi lists or you can connect but no internet?
  16. It's not a wide spread issue so it will be down to something in your setup, are you using automatic or manual network settings on the console? Have you set an alternative port for it to use? Do you leave it in an instant on/standby state all the time? There aren't any IPv6 DNS options currently.
  17. Direct to the modem what speed are you getting again, half? What settings did you change on the router prior to it happening? What IP did you put in the DMZ exactly?
  18. Go to routerlogin.net/adv_index.htm this should load NG settings without DumaOS, from there go to Advanced WiFi Settings, disable WiFi, apply, reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes, re-access using the same link, enable WiFi, apply, reboot from the interface and wait 2 minutes. Then see whether it loads correctly using the normal URL and if the WiFi now starts appearing.
  19. You can either do so by allowing the router to do it from Settings > Firmware Update or by download the firmware from support.netgear.com and uploading it to the router in the same place
  20. Modem mode can be finicky in my experience, however, once you've put it in modem mode reboot the XR and wait 2 minutes, then it should get internet
  21. Don't do a 30/30/30 update, it can damage the router so isn't recommended, also a 7 second reset won't be resetting it, it will just be rebooting. Reinstall the latest firmware using TFTP, wait 5 minutes once you've done that, hold the reset button for 30 seconds, release, wait 2 minutes then attempt access.
  22. Hey, welcome to the forum! Approved!
  23. No it wouldn't at all, the servers are still all able to be connected to via the Geo-Filter
  24. Hello, welcome to the forum! Nothing you need to do, they just update the servers often so Heatmap can get out of date, we'll push another update on Monday for it.
  25. So the Geo-Filter shows your ping direct to the server. Games have processing delay, not all games choose to include this in their ping calculation but CoD does which is why it will be higher, as you mentioned the ping seems about right in both cases. As for the latency bar I couldn't say how that is being calculated. We're still improving the results from the tests on the router, it uses a speedtest you probably haven't used before and it's possible that it isn't selecting the closest server.
