  1. It's not really doing anything in that case, could be that QoS enabled means packets are being analyzed/processed and that additional processing may be giving you a slight delay, not enough to have any sort of lag but perhaps enough to give you a slight lag compensation benefit.
  2. Sí, es para WiFi, no debería haber mucha diferencia de ping, pero si funciona mejor para ti, ¡es genial! Intente habilitar la opción Aplicar a WAN para Normal y Juegos/Voz y vea si eso mejora aún más.
  3. So you've disabled Congestion Control and Traffic Prioritization completely?
  4. Could you provide a screenshot like the first one so it's not squashed, then we'll have a better idea of where you are at. Also, are you using the Geo-Filter at all?
  5. Glad to hear that! Okay forget TFTP then for the moment, try the HTTP force and check some of the previous versions, I would recommend you do a factory reset if you do change firmware, it clears out any remnants of the previous version that may cause issues
  6. I don't know your personal experience or that of any other customer and have to troubleshoot given what is being said at the time, you suggested the guide may not be as clear to an end user so I just wanted to double check some details. If you do the reset in the place I mentioned that should get the light to flash once turned on. Otherwise, there are quite a few firmware versions you can choose from to see if they are more stable for you: https://www.netgear.com/support/product/xr300.aspx#download It's also worth mentioning that if your browser is forcing connections to use HTTPS this could be causing the problem, if you double check your browser does this and disable it if it does then re-try the interface using HTTP and see if it loads without error.
  7. Did you change the directory on command prompt to be the same as the location of the file? Did you enable TFTP on Windows itself? Between steps 7-9 hold the reset button and then let go on step 9 when that's complete then carry on and see if that works
  8. Great to hear that, thanks for the update, you're very welcome!
  9. The Ping Test is a test of your line so how stable it is without any factors on your side taken into consideration so how good the line is from your internet provider basically and as such it's not something you can influence on your side. Could you provide a screenshot? Then I can advise whether it's something I would recommend you contact the ISP about.
  10. Suponiendo que haya comprado durante el último año, envíe un correo electrónico a [email protected] con un enlace a este tema y su número de pedido y podemos organizar un reemplazo para usted.
  11. What time did the disconnect occur roughly in the log so we can pinpoint the entries
  14. Great thanks, I'll pass it on and we'll let you know once we've done it.
  15. I don't think it's the router specifically causing the problem but try it when directly connected to the modem as well. If your goal is to be streaming then using a VPN would only add additional latency as well which you wouldn't want.
  16. When did this issue start to happen, after updating, changing settings etc? When you upgraded to the latest version did you do a factory reset after?
  17. Hello, welcome to the forum! You're not able to change the region unfortunately. I think this is something that we'll have to pass on directly to Netgear as there is not much troubleshooting we can do here. The fact that it is coming up with nil means there is a problem with the language file.
  18. Hey, welcome to the forum! This is very unlikely, the majority of our customers don't have connections that would allow them to benefit from this, thereby pushing up the cost unnecessarily. We've always tried to keep our routers around the same price to it is accessible to the majority.
  19. Could you grab the log from the System Information page please and upload it here? That should give us some indications as to what is happening.
  20. Just to clarify, when you enable the VPN on your PC, does that prevent internet access or just access to the router interface? If the latter then that is expected, you're creating a network tunnel that then excludes the router. The easiest way to circumvent CG-NAT is to contact your ISP, they may be able to remove you from it (I've only seen that happen for one person) or get a static IP from them (they may charge extra for this), otherwise switching to an ISP that doesn't use CG-NAT.
  21. Which router are you using the XR1000 or the R2? What firmware version are you on currently? If you reboot the router from the interface, wait 2 minutes then access are you able to load it without error?
  22. Fuerce algunos servidores diferentes que están un poco más lejos de usted, incluso si tienen un ping más alto, pueden ser más estables
  23. So the connection re-establishes itself automatically without a reboot or anything like that? If you haven't rebooted since the disconnect could you grab the log file from the System Information page on the router and post it here, that should give us an indication of what is happening. What router is it you're using?
  24. I'll add you to the list for when we expand the group.
  25. The Geo-Filter doesn't impact the connection in that way so it's more likely that you would need to adjust it to get a better server, perhaps the one you were playing on was under heavy load for example.
