Firmware 3.2 for XR500
Netduma Fraser replied to Stilts29's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Thanks for the requests, I'll add your names to the list for expansion! -
I'd recommend signing up to Early Access: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/39415-introducing-early-access/ and once approved you can try any firmware there and see if that resolves the issue for you.

DumaOS 3.3 for XR700 and XR500 news.
Netduma Fraser replied to Dugby's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
As the link mentions we're currently conducting a small beta test for the XR500, once we're happy with the results and iron out any major bugs we can get that publicly released and then get the XR700 underway. -
Welcome R2 owners! We want your feedback!
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Interesting okay, what does the IP end with? Does the WAN & public IP both show the outdated address? -
Collegato a entrambi, l'icona grande è l'host del gioco, l'altro un server richiesto per il gioco online che non influirà sul ping del gioco
-
L'icona più grande sarà sempre l'host del gioco, quindi l'altra è probabilmente un server per il gioco online

Welcome R2 owners! We want your feedback!
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Netduma R2 Support
@JustinCase thank you for your feedback, to address your points, does the IP on Sys Info update after a reboot? The Rapp panel is intentionally unable to be used for the moment but that may come into play in the future. We are actually planning/working on merging the Geo-Filter and Ping Heatmap together so they will be more useful together, that will be a ways off. Allowing manual additions to allow/deny has been requested before so it's on our list to potentially add. I'd recommend signing up for Early Access so you can try any new builds there: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/39415-introducing-early-access/ Glad to hear you're enjoying it overall though! -
Found mislocated servers? Let us know here!
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Call of Duty Support
Great thank you very much, I'll pass that on, it is a general topic for mislocated servers so you've posted in the right place! -
Did you end up disabling Armor before? A new firmware version isn't far off but may be worth installing the firmware via TFTP, followed by a factory reset for the freshest install possible in case there are any issues in the boot process. https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-do-I-upload-firmware-to-my-NETGEAR-router-using-TFTP-from-the-Microsoft-Windows-Command-Prompt?article=000059634

Do you have the Allow us to collate data enabled in Settings? On your web browser could you access and remove any devices/polygons you've made, then retry accessing using the app please?
-
It should prompt you when you notice a crash
-
Could you make sure your R2 is accessible, so in DMZ of modem/router, remote support in WAN Settings, then PM me & @Netduma Liam with the ARP entries you want and we can see if the team can do that for you

Reoccurring Unknown Device
Netduma Fraser replied to Zaroo's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
I can't see why that would have made any difference to the IP address amount of any devices, did it at least get rid of the unknown device? The ISP modem should either be in bridge mode or have the XR WAN IP in its DMZ ideally. -
Reoccurring Unknown Device
Netduma Fraser replied to Zaroo's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
For router MAC address select Use Default Address, apply, reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes then delete the device and see if it reappears. Given it's just the router though it won't cause you any problems and isn't a risk -
I don't see why that wouldn't work but I can't say for definite
-
Don't think we would be allowing telnet anytime soon, there is a lot of proprietary tech in DumaOS, at some point we may have a very advanced options menu but that would be a ways off. I don't see why that couldn't work.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will add it to our list!

MW2 Shoot First Die first? how to fix this?
Netduma Fraser replied to ownal0t's topic in Call of Duty Support
70% is a recommended starting point but it's not perfect for everyone, experiment with the percentages to see what works best for you -

Netduma Fraser replied to ownal0t's topic in Call of Duty Support
People do experiment with the percentages, they usually throttle quite a lot, I'm not sure if they've tried that way. People do that as well, some find those higher servers play a bit better for them. Whatever works best for you! -

Just what you would do normally, utilize the Geo-Filter, QoS isn't as needed as you have a dedicated line but you can still experiment with it -
