  1. Okay that's good, it can take a few days or longer for some providers when you introduce a new router to have it provide full speeds. How long have you had the R3 connected?
  2. It shouldn't make a difference really whether you can ping it or not but for those ones where it doesn't play well deny the server so you don't play on it again
  3. If you just have your radius over your area you wouldn't be able to connect to him so it might make it force you as the host instead
  4. It's not always possible to ping the server unfortunately but I am talking to the team about it
  5. Disable Geo-Latency as that will help keep the game within your radius, see if it works better then
  6. You can do yes, just keep in mind QoS won't work as effectively in that scenario as it can't control the devices not connected to it
  7. How far away is the friend in relation to you? What is the ping when they host?
  8. They'll both work regardless but always best to have ALL devices connected to the R3
  9. Is that DMZ on the R3 or DMZ on the provider router?
  10. Let us know if the above process works!
  11. Is the gaming device still on even in an instant on/standby state?
  12. Did you split the WiFi bands? If not its likely your device is using 5GHz at that time and will then switch to 2.4GHz when needed.
  13. Factory reset can be done either via the interface or by holding the reset button in the back of the router for 30 seconds. Unplugging is just a reboot. The firmware is attached to the first post on that link, there is also an alternate download link at the bottom of that post.
  14. As above, your confirmation is also likely in your spam/junk folder. If not and you want it email [email protected] and we can get a confirmation over to you
  15. Can you provide a screenshot of the Geo-Filter showing what you see when this happens please? We don't have telephone support as we're still a small company
  16. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode What speeds do you pay for/expect and what are you receiving? Presumably you're testing via ethernet?
  17. No it's the same firmware but best to do a factory reset after upgrading
  18. Try the latest here: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/53938-new-r3-firmware-4041/
  19. Okay please let us know if it happens again!
  20. Are you checking the speed test on the router? If so what does speedtest.net show you?
  21. Likely for stats for nerds to update it'd need to be a new connection/another server
  22. Yes you can do that and it should work just fine!
  23. Yes that's correct, copy the WAN IP from the WAN page on the R3, find the DMZ option on the V hub and paste it in and apply then check the speeds through the R3
  24. That all looks okay, could you take the VM out of modem/bridge mode and put the R3 in its DMZ please? I've found the modem mode to be a bit unpredictable
  25. Can you provide a screenshot of the Dashboard and Ping Optimizer > Advanced please as well as the WAN page
