I'd suggest reupgrading the firmware using the TFTP method, this bypasses the boot process and any issues there then once done do a factory reset for the freshest install possible: https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-do-I-upload-firmware-to-my-NETGEAR-router-using-TFTP-from-the-Microsoft-Windows-Command-Prompt?article=000059634 and see if it works after that. If you reboot by unplugging the router without having done a software reboot (which acts as a hard save) then it could wipe settings.

The R2 is ahead in software, that's where a lot of people are annoyed because the XR platforms are behind in that sense. There isn't much I can say, I do agree it has been far too long for an update and I know better than to provide an ETA based on current information that may change again closer to the time.

Could you provide a log file from the System Information page when the disconnects happen please? That should give me an indication of what may be happening. How often is it occurring? -

As above there isn't a one size fits all scenario, best settings for someone else may be terrible for you and vice versa. Best to experiment and see what works best for you. You can enable Classified Games it will cover most of your gaming needs. Gaming/Voice is to be used if the device you're playing on is on WiFi, otherwise for wired devices select normal.

The XR routers are sensitive in what they report as a DoS attack and actually just show connections you've made. For example, from that snippet I can see you've had a connection with Facebook, Google & Amazon. The fact you're getting that when you try to login suggests someone is attempting and failing to login to the router, is it possible someone in your household may be trying to gain access to get around a Traffic Controller rule for example?

So you named your PC PlayStation and it's appearing offline when you're online? Check the IP on the PC itself, does it match the IP of the device you think it is on the Device Manager?

Hello, welcome to the forum! We never give an ETA on releases because they're always subject to change. For example we'll have a new version available and it'll look good going through testing so we could give an ETA then something is found that needs to be fixed, then you have the dev time to resolve it then go through testing again etc. -
On devices themselves they will show the router LAN IP as the DNS address, your DNS change does not affect this, however the device will be using the DNS you have set on the router. It is normal and expected behavior.

Welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear you're having this issue, are other devices having this issue or just the PC? Have you disabled DHCP on the router by any chance?

We're receiving another build this week so we'll test that and it will then depend on how well that goes as to what happens, either we can then prep for release or we/NG will need to fix anything that has found
