It's an issue with the app, no one with an XR1000 will be able to access the app currently. We're looking into it and will push an app update once fixed.

cant connect to the netduma software
Netduma Fraser replied to BdAim's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
What was the IP you entered in the DMZ? Have you disabled DHCP at all? Can you access using routerlogin.net or 192.168.1.1 in the web browser? -

Cannot connect wirelessly to R3 with my windows laptop.
Netduma Fraser replied to Mike Spinx's topic in Netduma R3 Support
That's strange, had you already connected the router and changed the WiFi password on the router without inputting the new password on the PC WiFi? -
Great let us know! If it's still an issue please get the System Logs from Settings > Troubleshooting > Advanced > System Logs after you've tried again and that could give us some insight on what is happneing. Thanks for the kind words!

R3 Stuck on bootlop first time booting
Netduma Fraser replied to DARKNESS's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Thanks for the suggestion, I will add it to the list! -
Ahh I see, I don't really understand why it is giving you those: You have plenty of speed Your bufferbloat score is amazing Your general ping is the average I would ignore it as you definitely won't have issues getting low latency when gaming
-
On the R3 go to Settings > Troubleshooting > Advanced and disable the protection options, they can drop packets so disabling them may help
-
Great to hear you see the difference when it is working! Let us know about Destiny. Also try removing the device from the Geo-Filter, changing the PC device type (icon) in Device Manager to a PlayStation and then re-add it to the Geo-Filter, does it work more consistently then?

Cannot log into DumaOS from Mac or IOS
Netduma Fraser replied to Seb1991's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Uninstall the DumaOS app then re-install it and it should allow you to then use the app correctly. Is the MAC connected to the R3 WiFi? If so does http://dumaos work? -
Access XR1000 from WAN
Netduma Fraser replied to Réda's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
You can find this option in Settings > Advanced > Remote Management -
No there isn't but it has been requested and I've just made another note regarding it, we'll see what we can do!

DumaOs Beta 3.3
Netduma Fraser replied to [email protected]'s topic in Feature Ideas & Improvements for DumaOS
You'll need to sign up here for that: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/39415-introducing-early-access/ Let us know when you've done that and we can get you added -
Any that you've specifically noticed disconnects on
-
I think we'll need more logs to establish a pattern but in the meantime you could try this based on what I've seen in the logs, In Settings > DHCP assign reserved IP addresses to devices and see if it happens again

Couldn't get VLAN to save for PPPoE
Netduma Fraser replied to SturdyFugur's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Ah well done on that! Excellent do keep us updated! -
Newer routers are being shipped with the firmware fix so they shouldn't experience the same issue thankfully. Yes you could do that, have another router upstream to handle PPPoE, complete the Setup Wizard then once through take the upstream router out and enter PPPoE in the R3 Settings
-
Most likely a bug, it may not be a switch but would be good to rule it out. If it does happen again please get the logs from Settings > Troubleshooting > Advanced > System Logs as that will give us a much clearer idea of what may be happening
-
Do you mean there is no button to logout of the interface? What do you mean by danger triangles? You don't need to factory reset after any update on the R3. There isn't a beta firmware for that right now
-
I can provide a firmware for you yes but unlikely to help with that issue. I suspect though that it could be due to using the switch, are you able to unplug any switches/other routers behind the R3 and see whether you get the same disconnect issues? I've PMd you the firmware I've got lots of posts and in other places to reply to, I'm replying as fast as I can
-
I know some smart devices don't like when WiFi switches bands automatically. If you split the WiFi bands on the R3 and have it connect directly to the 2.4GHz or 5GHz does it work better then?
-
Yes that's right, we should be able to make it easier. Click the 3 dots top right of the router interface and go to settings, then you'll see the extra options. As most games are server based you're connecting to the server not to other players and so you can't prevent other people connecting to the same server as you.
-
Disable the protection options in Settings > Troubleshooting > Advanced and see whether that resolves it please
-
We are looking at improving the reliability of this, do you play any other games? If so could you see whether you get the same problem when those servers are showing?

La aplicación DumaOS en su tienda de aplicaciones móviles se actualizará desde su tienda de aplicaciones móviles, está separada de la interfaz. Entonces usa la aplicación, ¿eso te deja entrar?
