ANNOUNCEMENT: Introducing the Netduma R3
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in News & Announcements
That's fine though would indicate another router above that, is that right? If so would be best to have the AP behind the R3 -
Hold for 30 seconds, then release and wait 4 minutes

Cannot log into DumaOS from Mac or IOS

You don't need to do that with the Sky Hub in the setup as it will be handling that, is that how you have it setup currently? We're looking into the VLAN ID not saving currently - another reason to stay with Sky Hub > R3 while we fix it -
Thank you for that, I'll pass it onto the team to have a look at it as I feel they would have a better idea than me about why and how it should behave in this scenario

¿Configuraste el XR1000 para usar PPPoE/VLAN? Si es así, deberá eliminar PPPoE del R3, luego reiniciar el XR, esperar 4 minutos, luego reiniciar el R3, esperar 4 minutos y debería tener Internet.

I think you'll probably need to factory reset and then it should be fine after that. If the interface is still slow your web browser may be using significant system resources. I had the same problem recently but wasn't isolated to the R3, I was using the Brave browser and it was slow on the interface but every so often all tabs would stop working as Brave took 100% of the CPU, switched to Opera GX and no issues now, the R3 interface is snappy as it should be and no slow downs on other tabs

Couldn't get VLAN to save for PPPoE

Thank you for the information, I will pass that onto the team! -
Yeah it won't adjust if you're not able to complete it. We're looking into it at the moment so hopefully we'll have some improvements for it this week

geo-filter is not working for me in cod: warzone

That's what you need to do to force specific servers, the servers you're forcing are not commonly used servers and that is very likely why it is taking you a long time to connect to them. Steady Ping will be increasing the ping to provide a buffer against spikes/jitter so they're absorbed but do not affect you, giving you 1 consistent ping throughout the entire game for a smoother experience. If you prefer you can disable this and your ping will likely be lower but could fluctuate. Also a router isn't the only determining factor in the calculation of your ping, there are a lot of variables that could be different to your friend such as your proximity to the server, your ISP routing to the server etc. To speed up the search you would need to force a server that is used more often in more central/western Europe. To give you an idea, I don't think I have seen anyone connect to or force the server you're using in years. -
You're accessing the interface using http which is normal and why it says it isn't private, it's perfectly normal. It doesn't need HTTPS as the interface cannot be accessed from the internet. Reboot the router, wait 4 minutes then access and login.

I'm not trying to fob it off as that doesn't help anyone, I'd just have to come back and reply again, I'm dealing with a lot of questions at the moment and so I may misread things at times. So it's Sky Hub > R3 now right? If so reboot the Sky hub, wait 2 minutes, then reboot the R3, wait 2 minutes then check. Sounds simple but sometimes that's all it takes. -

Nothing specifically other than ensuring the upstream modem/router is setup to use the R3 in DMZ or modem/bridge mode -
It's not always providing results at the moment, we're looking into it currently to make it more reliable
-
That's what the test does yes, if it's staying at 100% that's what it thinks is best and would change the values for you
-
There aren't any settings available for the USB currently, it would just provide power for the moment, I'll make a request for that functionality
-
È quello che sarebbe stato il tuo ping quando la tua connessione è completamente utilizzata, tutta la tua velocità di banda è utilizzata. Ora, con Ping Optimizer, nello stesso scenario, il ping sarebbe solo di 27ms.

Great to hear that! I'd leave it in this configuration for now while its working and enjoy having a look at the features and try gaming with it! If you're looking for some extra insight one of our beta users made a setup guide: -

Forcing specific servers can make the search longer and if you're forcing a server it's best to set Ping Assist to 0 -
Okay thank you, I will make sure to let the team know about that. Yes that's correct! Great to hear you're having a good experience generally. Haha thank you, likely will do some on Xmas day and have the rest of the day off. People will be getting it as a gift I suspect so may need help!

You can see them in Ping Optimizer > Advanced and can change them from there manually. They will take affect immediately, they're not tied to being in a game
-
No and no unfortunately, both have been requested so may be implemented at a later date
-
Dice lì che il tuo ping era di 133ms e con Ping Optimizer è sceso a 27, quindi finché permetti di modificare le impostazioni, la tua connessione sarà ottimizzata.
-
Okay great, it'll just be a misreading caused by the Geo-Filter then, you can re-enable and ignore it as you'll have an open NAT. It's likely then that it is using other places to serve ads that may not be in our list. Have a look online for some Adblock lists and then add them to Adblocker and if they're covered they should then be blocked
-
Uninstall the app, reinstall it and then it'll work
-
For the app, uninstall it then reinstall it and it will work. For Ping Optimizer is may sometimes fail but try it 3 times does it work then? We're looking into it to make it more reliable
