  1. So literally none of those suggestions did anything whatsoever for the WiFi?
  2. Could you both disable SmartBOOST entirely from > Settings please and then see if you get the same issue?
  3. Would you have usually got the issue by this point?
  4. If you're upgrading through the interface without a manual file reboot then try and it should work
  5. Let us know all the issues you're having, we can help to resolve them or we can assure you it's on our list or we can pass it on to have a look at. Sounds like Adblocker could be making sites slower than usual. WiFi should be able to be improved with settings: Split bands, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _
  6. Quite a few differences, the main ones that would affect you is the software, I'll work on a comparison list for the hardware. This will give you a good idea overall https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCU0-ELvZkOqiQFGXII95B7063uASKQlO
  7. We're aware Ping Optimizer/Speed Test isn't 100% reliable at the moment and we'll be working to resolve that in the new year, it can still work though. In the meantime it may be best to adjust Congestion Control in Ping Optimizer > Advanced
  8. Yes you can do as above if you have the physical file
  9. I was with Virgin Media and I always found the modem mode unstable at times, I would suggest using it in router mode with the R3 in its DMZ. Then have ALL devices connected to the R3, make sure you setup Congestion Control in Ping Optimizer > Advanced to use Always and then maybe 70%/70% for example, do you see the same thing then?
  10. It looks like it might have WiFi is that right? Does it have an interface you can connect to? Uninstall the app and then reinstall it and it should work then. Sent in a PM
  11. For Fortnite you wouldn't have been able to filter this previously so if you're able to now that is a big improvement. Steady Ping won't work for every game, we should make that more clear. If SmartBOOST is working properly you may not notice it, it'll just ensure everything is running smoothly. Speedtest/Ping Optimizer uses the same servers and depending on your routing/location in relation to them you may not get the best results. We'll be improving this where possible. How have you set Congestion Control manually to eliminate Bufferbloat? We know exactly what this issue is and the team will be fixing it when they're back. Sent to you both
  12. I think this would be one for @mannrs to help with when he is able to as it's more of a situation between you and Telstra that we can't do anything with.
  13. It may be worth contacting Netgear directly, these are both features developed by them so they'll have a better on how to support it than us
  14. Oh no I don't think that'll be the issue. Which firmware is this exactly? There are a few versions. Have you factory reset since the update? If not please do that and see if you get more stability. Could you disable SmartBOOST fully from > Settings and see whether you get the not loaded issue please?
  15. Ping Optimizer should still work but we're aware its not 100% reliable, you can use Congestion Control manually instead in Ping Optimizer > Advanced in the meantime
  16. It's unlikely it's specific to the playlist the way that it is behaving, there are still improvements to be done, it's not stabilizing every time, we'll be working on it.
  17. If it says cannot ping this server that is usually legitimate. What ping setting did you change exactly? Disable Geo-Latency, do you get the same issue? It still may appear to search in the same way if it gets games within your radius. -- I've sent you all the firmware with Geo-Filter improvements in a PM, some of you may have it already
  18. Thanks for the reports, will pass it on. Sent you both the firmware.
  19. If it says can't ping the server that is legitimate. If it's trying to ping constantly that's more likely an issue we have to solve. It can still stabilize when it doesn't ping. We know what the latter issue is. I don't have any further firmware versions as the team are off for the holidays.
  20. Could you try disabling SmartBOOST fully - on the page click and go to settings then disable and see if it still occurs after that please?
  21. It's more likely to be the above, if you wait about 30 seconds does it regain internet? Yes we're aware of that issue and will be looking into it.
  22. Try this: Split the bands, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _ See if it has improved after that
  23. It sounds more like there are some simple settings you can change to fix your issues which is usually the case but we will be fixing any bugs found
  24. As the VPN page mentioned we had to take it out last minute, it was either that or delay the launch entirely. Are you using SmartBOOST/Congestion Control and the Geo-Filter? How have you set them up exactly?
  25. Try on the normal Xbox firmware please not the insider and see if it works as expected please
