No it's the same firmware but best to do a factory reset after upgrading

Something went wrong! Rapps and Themes Failed to Load
Netduma Fraser replied to NetriX's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Okay please let us know if it happens again! -
Likely for stats for nerds to update it'd need to be a new connection/another server

Duma R3, PS5 and EERO WIFI EXTENDER
Netduma Fraser replied to Jay-R-Bravo's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Yes you can do that and it should work just fine! -
Yes that's correct, copy the WAN IP from the WAN page on the R3, find the DMZ option on the V hub and paste it in and apply then check the speeds through the R3
-
That all looks okay, could you take the VM out of modem/bridge mode and put the R3 in its DMZ please? I've found the modem mode to be a bit unpredictable
-
Can you provide a screenshot of the Dashboard and Ping Optimizer > Advanced please as well as the WAN page
-
You just need to add the device once, even if it shows as inactive you should still see icons on the map. Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Use Simple instead of Polygon Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it should work then. The order confirmation with the order number is likely in your spam/junk folder. You can see the return policy at netduma.com/terms

XR1000 Unable To Access Web Portal
Netduma Fraser replied to fletcherjames1's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
What is the exact interface URL you're trying to access with? -
What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3?
-
What firmware version are you on currently?

Don't think I've seen this one before, if you clear your browser cache/cookies does it then load properly? -
congestion control not work with waveform
Netduma Fraser replied to justin peryea's topic in Netduma R3 Support
You could try something like this https://helpdesk.flexradio.com/hc/en-us/articles/202118518-Optimizing-Ethernet-Adapter-Settings-for-Maximum-Performance -
If you give the router a reboot from the interface they should all be able to connect again
-
The best thing to do is engage in support with us, just because you're having an issue doesn't mean everyone is having it and that a firmware fix is on the way. If you're getting disconnects that often please provide the logs from the interface when it happens. Do you have Adblocker enabled? If so disable that and see if the web pages load faster then please.

R3 how to get a better latency score on waveform?
Netduma Fraser replied to JAMINIROON's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Just like what you did with Congestion Control for download do the same with the Upload percentage until you get as close to 0 as possible. -
Once we're happy with how it is on the R3 we'll then port it to the R2. This will ensure a better porting process and end result for the R2 once done.
-
What is the ping as shown by the Geo-Filter and in game? What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode. Are ALL devices connected to the R3? How have you setup the Geo-Filter/SmartBOOST/Congestion Control?

NEW XR500 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.535
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
I heard that NG are wanting to release it officially at some point but it'll essentially be the same firmware, probably with a few security updates -
You could do that, less work for the router to do I suppose. Are you unplugging the router? If devices are being connected to it then it will update the allocations. Not particularly, you just need to upgrade to the intermediary firmware then the beta version or intermediary > beta RC10 > beta RC14. Shouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes
