  1. Did you redo the CG-NAT test?
  2. It'll be showing up as unknown because iOS has the Private/Random MAC address option enabled. A MAC address is a unique identifier for a device - by randomizing/privatizing it the router cannot tell what the device is. If you disable this and disconnect/re-connect to the WiFi the router will then be able to tell what the device is. As above if you disable Geo-Latency that won't happen again - it's also not a game we have specifically tested.
  3. Ah it might be that annoying LAN cable not connected issue which doesn't seem to be router specific, for troubleshooting purposes if you have the PS5 connected via WiFi do you get the same issues?
  4. Unfortunately the logs are wiped on a reboot so there won't be anything helpful in there. Same question to you as the above
  5. It increases your latency so I wouldn't recommend it but people do use it for gaming
  6. This should get you sorted: Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it should work then. Otherwise: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works better.
  7. They might be acting as the host in that scenario, if you try to host the game/lobby it might be better then
  8. The lights will go on and off, they won't always be solidly lit, with the two cables connected as I mentioned are you able to access the interface and do you have internet?
  9. Is this screenshot from when you're in a game? If you zoom out fully do you see any other icons on the map?
  10. You need to have your device connected directly to the modem so the XR500 isn't connected and then tracert your public IP address - not the local IP of your modem
  11. It really depends on why that happens - if you're connecting to each other rather than a server then no, the distance is the same and you can't beat physics. If it's a server then possibly if it's using a server closer to them you may be able to get it closer to you (servers depending)
  12. In addition to the above is it just the gaming device being dropped from the game or does it lose internet as well? Do other devices lose internet? What game/platform are you playing? What firmware version are you on currently?
  13. That's really weird, it might be best to assign reserved/static IPs to your devices on the router so it prevents that happening
  14. The above is what it is and what the main benefit is but a lot of people use it to get around Geo restrictions e.g. so you can watch US Netflix for example
  15. Huh that's cool, looks like an automated email/what you might get if you specifically follow a topic. Mark as solution might be in a more up to date version of the forum software
  16. Okay do keep us posted!
  17. Oh yes of course, absolutely connect in whatever way is easiest for you
  18. The router itself must be connected via ethernet to your ISP modem/router/ONT in order to get an internet connection
  19. Quite possibly, if you provide a screenshot of the results with part of the IPs blacked out I can take a look
  20. There is a recommend button if you click the 3 dots top right of one of the posts in this topic but not a mark as solution button. Never knew that email went out!
  21. Thanks, I'll research and come back to you
  22. In game ping includes processing delay which all games have, that's why it is higher. Generally the lower ping you get the better experience you have so that makes sense.
  23. You need to have the WAN/internet port on the R2 (the port closest to the plug) connected to your modem then one of your devices connected to one of the LAN ports and you should get internet
  24. No worries at all, that's good information, I'll pass it on to the team to have a look.
  25. Nothing on that label that indicates the model, if you have a look on the interface itself can you get any more information on the model?
