  1. It's just a simple .txt file - there are lists out there you can find and then add that will probably have the entries you're wanting already included, could save you some time.
  2. Don't worry, we'll get it sorted, if you disable IPv6 in LAN/WAN it may help it work in this instance
  3. Glad to hear you were able to get it sorted, thanks for the update!
  4. Haha well I'm glad it's working for you!
  5. I know you've tried some of these already: Split the bands, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _ Firmware hasn't been released yet and may have bugs, hence why it's in Early Access
  6. The ping in the network settings is to the authentication server (the server that checks that you have a paid account etc), that ping doesn't impact your game ping at all which is what the Geo-Filter shows and which is why it is lower. Weak in what sense? In WiFi Settings: Split the bands, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _
  7. Okay so internet was all working as expected then it suddenly stopped working? Was anything changed on either router? Reboot the giga, wait 2 minutes then reboot the R3, wait 4 minutes then see if you get internet
  8. You'll need to make a schedule to block the traffic, as it mentions there the allow is to allow it to bypass other block rules. As there is no block state the default state is to not do anything with the traffic - like your devices, you didn't make any rules to specifically allow them to work. So change it to block and schedule hours 4pm - 10am and it should work.
  9. I don't know how to access that model, they should have instructions or it may be on the underside of the router then just find the options I mentioned. Did you complete the Setup Wizard on the R3? You'll need to do that to get internet
  10. Thank you, you'll need to access it and put it in modem mode/bridge/passthrough mode or take the R3 WAN IP (found on the R3 WAN page or on the Giga device list) and put that in its DMZ
  11. I know you'll be using different regions but did you disable the Geo-Filter in the same way - either removing the device from the Geo-Filter or clicking on it and then disable filtering? The China one, does it work without the R3 then and a VPN being used?
  12. Probably something like 192.168.1.254 but it should tell you when you go to change the mode
  13. What is the specific model of it? You can check the label on the underside. You'll need to adjust the Geo-Filter/SmartBOOST/Congestion Control to get the benefits. Here is a video that may help:
  14. If it's not actively sending traffic at the time then it may switch to offline
  15. This is for the R3
  16. Okay do the reset and let us know how you get on
  17. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Where are you measuring the ping? Have you changed any settings or just plugged in and completed the wizard? The console speed tests are an estimate - I suspect if you do a download it will go at the speed you expect. Where are you testing the speeds and how?
  18. That's great to hear, thanks for the update!
  19. For the first device it's likely when that error appears that there will be something blocked on the map - add it to your allow list and then it should work. Were they both disabled in the same way? What firmware are both routers on?
