In System Information, in the Rapp panel options change the number of retries to 5 then reboot from the interface. If it continues then please grab the log file from the System Information page. -
ANNOUNCEMENT: DUMAOS 3.0 IS HERE
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Luke's topic in News & Announcements
It's not that simple, development is a long process and if it hits QA and bugs are found then they will be fixed which will ultimately push back when we can release it. We learnt a long time ago that it was better not to give dates. -
Try this one please, sorry for the inconvenience, hopefully we'll get there in the end! clientdev tun auth-user-passnobindpersist-keypersist-tunverb 3remote-cert-tls server--keepalive 10 30sndbuf 524288rcvbuf 524288cipher AES-256-CBCtls-cipher TLS-DHE-RSA-WITH-AES-256-GCM-SHA384:TLS-DHE-RSA-WITH-AES-256-CBC-SHAproto udpreneg-sec 0fast-ioremote-randomremote gb-lon-101.mullvad.net 1301 <ca> -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- // Removed for pasting -----END CERTIFICATE----- </ca>

ANNOUNCEMENT: The Netduma R2 is here
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Admin's topic in News & Announcements
Sorry about that, I found the issue and you should be able to post now. Make a support topic and we'll be happy to help. -
I think so or your account user ID, is that the same?
-
Apologies for the question but did you type your username/password in correctly?
-
Yes we will, I've asked the team to see whether it is something they can do for one of the next updates. Could you try this one instead please? client dev tun resolv-retry infinite nobind persist-key persist-tun verb 3 remote-cert-tls server --keepalive 10 30 sndbuf 524288 rcvbuf 524288 cipher AES-256-CBC tls-cipher TLS-DHE-RSA-WITH-AES-256-GCM-SHA384:TLS-DHE-RSA-WITH-AES-256-CBC-SHA proto udp auth-user-pass reneg-sec 0 tun-ipv6 fast-io remote-random remote gb-lon-101.mullvad.net 1301 <ca> -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- // Removed for pasting -----END CERTIFICATE----- </ca>

Hey, welcome to the forum! All pre-orders are due to be sent by the end of next week so it won't be too much longer. -
That's great to hear, thanks for sharing the solution for you. We're investigating the issue at hand so I'm confident we'll get it resolved.

Xr1000 devices keep disconnecting
Netduma Fraser replied to VVarrior's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
It might be the power cut briefly causing a reset, I''d see if you can get a replacement, either with the retailer you purchased from or by making a ticket with Netgear here: http://support.netgear.com/ -
I think we've gone through everything unfortunately yeah. We can do a replacement though and then that should work if you'd like to try that. Either way you'll need to email [email protected] with your order number, if you want the replacement then link this topic and they'll sort that out for you.
-
Thanks for that, can you go ahead and re-upgrade to the same firmware please and then factory reset for a fresh install and see if it still happens after that? It may not have flashed correctly prior to shipping. https://forum.netduma.com/topic/34950-new-r2-firmware-30205/

ANNOUNCEMENT: DUMAOS 3.0 IS HERE
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Luke's topic in News & Announcements
Thanks for the report, I've compiled a list of all the heatmap games that need to be updated and have passed it over to the team to update. -
When set to never it does override the slider value to essentially be off so for example: 100/100Mbps 50% set to Always = ~50Mbps 50% set to Never = ~100Mbps
-
Thanks for that, what was the IP you gave the R2? On the System Information page does it show the same IP that you set?
-
Thanks for the information, on the actiontec would you be able to set a static IP for the R2 to see if it can sustain a connection? Might be to do with the actiontec DHCP release renewing.

Xr1000 devices keep disconnecting
Netduma Fraser replied to VVarrior's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Some devices do not like Smart Connect and are not able to seamlessly transition bands based on Bandwidth as the router does without connecting manually to a band. I would suggest making a guest WiFi for such devices and then using Smart Connect for the main WiFi so you get the best of both worlds. -
Is that in router mode or have you put it in modem mode? Regardless of the way you have put it can you try the other method please and see if that works? It is a support forum so you will mainly see people with issues here, it does not represent the entirety of our customer base and is within normal levels for a consumer based product. We are working on it, it's a tough issue to pin down but it's a high focus for us. Is that all devices or wired/wireless specifically?
-
Could you contact Mullvad and ask them for a configuration file that will work with OpenVPN 2.3.4 please?

Ping Test (Under Load) - Always getting C rating
Netduma Fraser replied to thisisreallife's topic in Netduma R2 Support
In that case I wouldn't worry about the benchmark results you're seeing - it is using the Google server which can be hit or miss sometimes -
Hey, welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear you're having this issue. What is your exact physical setup, i.e. are you using a pure modem (no wifi) or a modem/router (wifi)?

Ping Test (Under Load) - Always getting C rating
Netduma Fraser replied to thisisreallife's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Relatively close yes. You do have some inherent spikes in the base connection but under load it is higher. What percentage are you using currently? Try something really low just to see whether it adjusts more favorably.
