Not currently but we're working on it, we realize it's been awhile and doing our best to get it out as soon as we can

The game is server based and therefore you don't make direct connections to players and can't influence where players connect to. If you're closer to the server you'll have the advantage

Ping Heatmap suggestion/issue thread
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Hey, welcome to the forum! We've removed it for the moment as we couldn't detect the servers properly, once we've sorted it out we'll add it back. You can still use the Geo-Filter to filter FIFA though. -
That will be because you've unplugged it and caused a sudden loss in power it's partially reset itself, so do the reboot via the interface after you've changed your settings. Wait for it to boot up and then you can try unplugging it and settings should have been saved
-
Do change the option as that has fixed it for other people with similar issues, change that and then let us know how you get on - I do suspect that will likely be the fix

DumaOS Mobile App Alpha - Now Available!
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in DumaOS Mobile App
You'll need to wait until it is back in the app store, I don't think we'll be providing the APK. -
Change WiFi mode to use 2400Mbps instead of 4800Mbps and see if the WiFi is better. Do you know whether you have a static or dynamic public IP?
-
Do see if the ethernet device works that would be good to know. What is the model of your ISP modem/router? When you get that router page connect to the interface using the IP instead, does that allow access? Also can you provide a screenshot of your WiFi settings please?

XR500 slow WIRED speeds

It doesn't matter too much but supposedly if you have an Xbox it can improve the connection so up to you really. -
Hey, welcome to the forum! Ideally you shouldn't reboot by suddenly cutting the power but make your settings and reboot the router from the interface. This will act as a hard save and the next time you pull the power or lose power then your settings should be saved. Regards to disconnections is it wireless devices only or do wired devices experience it as well. When it happens do you still have access to the interface? If so does System Information show you a WAN IP?

I'd go Always for testing, once you find what works best you can switch to Auto-enable if preferred. 70% is a very good starting point, see if any devices lag/buffer when all being used at the same time, if they don't then you've got a good value. We don't give out any ETAs on updates but we're working on it! -

I would recommend setting your bandwidth as the average of what you normally get so if you normally get 450 but only sometimes get 500 then go with 450. You can still benefit from QoS, start with 70% download/upload and see how you go from there. -
Great to hear that! That's very much an aesthetic issue so we will sort that, just focusing on getting all the servers appearing in the correct locations at the moment
-
They're being tested/used at the moment. We did a location update very recently, resync the cloud and see if they appear in the correct location
-
Yes it is, we're creating backend tools to make it more accurate and update quicker. They won't be peers, they will be servers misclassified as peers, it will not affect your connection, it is purely aesthetic
-
I doubt that's the case, they wouldn't go from servers to P2P when the difference in connection quality could be substantial. I suspect they're just appearing as misclassifed on the Geo-Filter Map
-
Yes they will be, we're working on backend tools at the moment to help us make it more accurate and more quickly so I suspect it won't be as much of a problem in the future. Possible that UK one could also be one of the servers that failed to ping

Keep us posted!

Good idea above, go with a reset, don't change any settings after the reset and see if the speeds are what you would expect. Then start making your normal changes and see if the speeds change at any point. -
DumaOS Mobile App Alpha - Now Available!
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in DumaOS Mobile App
Unfortunately we have had an issue with Google causing our app to be temporarily removed from the play store. We are doing everything we can to get it back up asap and we will let you know when it's back up. The issue was caused by a policy violation in a closed track release. We assumed it would only effect the closed track release, not the public release. Sorry for any issues caused. -

Everything seems fine there. When you first noticed the issue had you made any changes on/with the router or the devices themselves? -

Very odd WiFi is fine and ethernet isn't. Have you tried all the ethernet ports to see if it is the same? Can you go to the Device Manager, click the icon and select table view, then take a screenshot and post it here please -
We're pushing a cloud update tomorrow, please see if that helps. In the meantime I'll check with the team.
-
Not in the same way as PC no, glad it still works though, sorry should have specified in your previous post.

DumaOS Classified Games uses DPI for PC games, not possible to do that for consoles so uses ports for consoles.
