  1. How is the TP setup - is it in bridge mode? PPPoE could potentially be it, it might not be working well with QoS. If you could have the TP handle PPPoE with the R1 in the DMZ then I think that would work better
  2. I believe that was the reason we didn't make it public, a player doesn't need to know another players IP address and makes it easier to DDoS them if that person is so inclined
  3. That doesn't really make sense, it's supposed to help in that very situation, I haven't seen anyone else with issues like this that I can recall. What is the model of the modem/router the R1 is connected to? Are ALL devices connected to the R1? Are you using PPPoE or anything like that for a connection?
  4. Just using QoS generally should prevent that occurring, Congestion Control on Always 70/70 should do the trick
  5. Do it via the hardware button, if there is a software issue it should bypass this and offer a new slate. Hold the reset button for 30 seconds, release, wait 2 minutes then access, go through the wizard and see if it loads correctly.
  6. How did you do the factory reset, via the interface or using the button in the back of the router? It is quite odd it's doing that.
  7. The ID can only be converted to an IP by us but the IP is usually shown in the domain field on the ping panel - it's not always accurate which is why we ask for the ID instead
  8. Ahh sorry about that, you can download it directly here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8z4kcynmo3glplp/DumaOS-R1-3.0.207.sig?dl=0
  9. @andybtsn if 2.0 was your issue I'd recommend at least trying the 3.0 beta for the R1 before you decide on purchasing another router as it may just work fine for you and your connection: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/35821-new-r1-firmware-30207/ make sure you do a factory reset once it's finished upgrading and see if it performs any better for you. If it doesn't seem to load after the upgrade you'll need to clear your browser cache/cookies.
  10. What do you mean the R1 couldn't cope with the software anymore? What issues were you having? We usually say if you care more about software than hardware then the R2, if hardware then XR500. Given your speeds and if you're not planning to upgrade that anytime soon then the R2 would be what I recommend.
  11. Could you make a new topic for your issue please and we can help there. While you do that, see if you can grab the log file from the System Information page when the disconnect occurs as that may help narrow it down.
  12. Do you mean it allows it instead of denying it or that it doesn't block it and therefore it can be allowed? Are you waiting 2 minutes after denying before searching for a game again so the connection can be severed?
  13. Great news! Are you using Mirror mode or is it disabled and you're connecting to 5GHz manually?
  14. That's quite possibly due to Safari, if you use another browser does it work?
  15. j'ai répondu dans ton autre sujet
  16. Thanks for the info, the dev that would do this is off today so will be Monday before they can take a look, any more information you can provide before then would be really helpful
  17. Okay great thanks, I'll discuss it with the team. Will likely be tomorrow before they can take a look
  18. Okay that's interesting, there has been a few reports of this so I think perhaps enabling some more logs on the router to collect information when the issue happens could be beneficial. Could you make the router accessible by enabling remote support in WAN, disable IPv6 in LAN/WAN and ensure R2 is in DMZ of the modem if applicable and let us know when you've done that please.
  19. Fair enough, please email [email protected] with a link to this topic and your order number and we can arrange that for you.
  20. You can do if you wish, shouldn't be too much longer for the firmware though, we're trying to push it out pretty soon
  21. Okay great thanks, I'll pass this onto the team for them to have a look tomorrow.
  22. The settings won't change no but things that could affect it may change, e.g. how many devices being used at the time, how much traffic they're using etc. That's why it's best to find out what QoS settings work best when your network is completely saturated. Even in game the server load may increase, you won't get put on the same server even if it's in the same location (they have many clustered in one spot)
  23. We're working on a more automatic version of QoS, as far as I am aware our plan in that regard is to run speedtests every X amount of time so that would update it for you.
  24. @Bcobz thanks for the great feedback, that's really awesome to hear! Also to address your point on the Rapps not loading, that is something we have been actively working on for months, it's been a super tricky issue to solve, hence why there hasn't been a new version in a little while. We're confident though that it will be fixed for the next version.
