  1. Yes that's the one I meant, I didn't see any mention of a power plug in an Amazon listing but lots of mentions of Power over Ethernet. The APs do they have a separate power source? Yes you could absolutely do that, the more devices connected behind the R2 the better really.
  2. Of the routers we make the R2 is the best choice (also the only one we currently sell), it has the very latest software and we have early access to try new versions. With any router you're unlikely to get 1000 exactly as router processing will cause it to drop a little, it's possible to reach ~900 with the R2 but it may be a bit less. Of the XR routers the XR500 has been out the longest so is likely the most stable in that sense.
  3. No worries, thanks for the log, I can't see anything in there that would cause the issue you've described. However, I think I know what the issue may be (thanks for providing the models of devices), it appears as though your switch and APs are all powered over ethernet without their own dedicated power supply. In comparison to the V Hub the R2 is not as powerful so I suspect it is not powerful enough to power 4 devices over ethernet hence why the AP WiFi networks disappear very quickly after being plugged in - they're actually powered off. If you were to replace the switch with one that has it's own power supply then that may resolve the issue.
  4. Was it the only device to disconnect or did others disconnect as well? Give the phone a reserved IP in LAN Settings, can it use the internet properly then?
  5. It's unlikely to make a difference but if you sign up to early access: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/39415-introducing-early-access/ once approved you can try any new firmware posted there
  6. Okay as long as Traffic Prioritization is working that is the main thing, we'll take a look at the game and get it sorted for Network Monitor
  7. Okay so probably the best thing to do would be modem > R2 (console connected) > Google router > Pods. You can still use QoS and it will treat the Google router and everything connected behind it as one device but you can then prioritize the console specifically. It should in theory still prevent local congestion but wouldn't be as good as if everything was connected to the router.
  8. Glad to hear it! What happens exactly when you try to connect?
  9. We may have to look into that then, do you have an Adblocker on the web browser? Are you forcing a connection to the interface using HTTPS?
  10. As above but the firmware was likely .130 https://kb.netgear.com/000064346/XR500-Firmware-Version-2-3-2-130 On the System Information page, click the icon on the Rapp Panel, set the retries to 5, reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes then access and see if it loads correctly
  11. Could you expand on what you mean by 'set' QoS? There are 3 features on the page which could all affect the results you're seeing. Also if you only have one or two devices connected to the router with the rest connected to your ISP modem/router then it will not be as effective.
  12. I would reiterate what I said before, no one has been banned using our router, nor could they detect that you're using the Geo-Filter, to them it just looks like your unable to connect to some servers, people will have that regardless of the router they're using - they can't ban everyone who can't connect to a server. More than likely what has happened is you've encountered players who were so annoyed you killed them that they reported you and the system auto bans after a set amount of reports and once it gets in front of a person to look at you'd be unbanned, as was likely the case for the original poster.
  13. Hey, welcome to the forum! When you add the console to the Geo-Filter select the manual option, that will add it with the Games Console service and allow you to filter the game.
  14. Thanks for the report, we can take a look at that, when you're playing does Traffic Prioritization prioritize it and if not how do you have the feature setup?
  15. What games are you playing specifically that are not being categorized? You can get Xbox Game Pass for PC if you didn't know, its pretty good!
  16. We don't give out any ETAs but it would likely be sometime early next year, we may run a beta before that but it's still being worked on so timeline is not set in stone at the moment. Try setting Congestion Control to never, disable DumaOS Classified Games and add your device to Traffic Prioritization with the Games Console service instead and see if that is better.
  17. Looks like it's categorized cloud gaming there, are you streaming a game using Xbox Game Pass for example?
  18. Hey, welcome to the forum! Did you disable QoS fully by any chance?
  19. I mean on the XR router specifically
  20. I don't think there is a way to disable it for WAN only unfortunately
  21. Sorry to hear that, a pretty big overhaul is coming to QoS though that's likely to be in 4.0 so would be interested to see your experience with that. If you were having local congestion then QoS would definitely help you
  22. @philo3391 I've responded in your other topic
  23. Did you select the option to Only VPN these services when selecting specific ports? If you are then it sounds like you haven't entered the correct ports for the location aspect
  24. That is normal when adding a console to the VPN / when it has a console device type in the Device Manager
  25. Not too much at this stage, just to echo Liam, there are background things we're working on that allow us to classify services/games etc more quickly and accurately
