  1. I'd first suggest rebooting the modem, waiting 2 minutes, then rebooting the R2, waiting 2 minutes and then seeing if you have internet - sometimes you need to boot in a certain order to get internet up and running. Do you have access to the interface while the internet is down?
  2. It's not currently possible but I'm sure it's something we could add as an additional option, thanks for the suggestion, I'll add it to the list!
  3. If you disable the protection options in WAN Settings and with Congestion Control set to 100% and bandwidth speeds set to what you expect, what do you get from speedtest.net then?
  4. Are you testing on speedtest.net? What do you get directly connected to the modem? What is the model of the modem/router the R2 is connected to? Are ALL devices connected to the R2 or do you still have some connected to the modem?
  5. You'll need to set your bandwidth speeds to 950/50 as they're set lower at the moment, having it set lower will make QoS less effective. Are ALL devices connected to the R2? The Ping Test isn't something you can change, that's your baseline to the Google server, your connection may be better to other servers so you don't need to look into it too much but you've definitely improved Ping Under Load already which is the main thing.
  6. Are ALL devices connected to the R2? The guide gives you some tips, generally we recommend around 1000km radius. What games are you playing that you can't use the Geo-Filter for? Can you provide a screenshot of your Geo-Filter page please?

  9. So when this happens, set Congestion Control to Always and experiment with percentages so change, test, change, test etc until you find percentages that bring Ping Under Load down to match the Ping Test as much as possible.
  10. The DMZ on the XR500 is for putting devices connected to the XR into, you can't put the XR into its own DMZ, it has to go into the modem DMZ
  11. Thanks for the information, a few people have reported it, we're looking into it and hope to have it resolved for the next version.

I'm wondering if when you updated that it didn't complete properly, could you upgrade to the same firmware manually, once completed after ~5 minutes do a factory reset, wait 2 minutes then please see if the message stops happening. On Apex Legends are you selecting the server manually as well? If they conflict you will have trouble getting a game.
  13. By manual I mean any rules yourself, what you have done is fine, no need to adjust Bandwidth Allocation
  14. If you have set the manual rule with Games Console it will be prioritized but I do get your point, give it a try and if it does work better without we can try to reproduce that as well
  15. If the console is connected to the XR via ethernet, then on Traffic Prioritization, after selecting Games Console, select normal and tick the Apply to WAN option, if it is connected via WiFi then do the same but select Gaming/Voice instead. Then see if you notice any improvement at all.

  17. Why do you think that is the cause? The only way to disable it is to disable QoS fully from the Congestion Control menu

  19. Hey, welcome to the forum! The R2 is purely our own software so I would be surprised if it worked - in the past someone tested it with the R1 which had the same software and it didn't work but we can add it to our list to potentially implement in the future.

WiFi won't be that high but here are some suggestions to get them higher: Disable Mirror Mode, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proxity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _

To check your NAT status on Windows do the following: Go to Settings > Gaming > Xbox Networking It will automatically run the test, this will usually fail Click 'Fix it' and wait for the confirmation message Click 'Check again' It should come back with your NAT type If it is Open then it is highly likely the game is misreading your NAT Type but then check again, does it appear open on the game and do you get a lower ping?
  22. The XR1000 doesn't currently have HybridVPN but it is something we're working on so in the meantime you would have to apply it the old fashioned way, on the device itself if it is supported
  23. YouTube ads/ads that play before/during videos won't be blocked as that is a lot more complex, you should however notice ads on normal websites have their ads blocked
  24. The settings will be changing, if you wait 1 minute after receiving the message then refresh it will have changed. Can you provide a screenshot of the Adblocker and System Information pages please?
