  1. Until the fix is available connect your BT router, then the XR to that, input the PPPoE details into the BT router, take the WAN IP from the XR System Information page and put that in the BT router DMZ and you should be good to go.
  2. Hey, welcome to the forum! Could you disable QoS completely from the Congestion Control menu and see if that resolves it please?
  3. We are a router company with the sole purpose of helping people improve their connection, we understand why people want to circumvent SBMM but it's not something we will get involved in.
  4. I've responded in your topic, in there please also provide a screenshot of your Geo-Filter page.
  5. Are you not connected to the BT router currently? Using the DMZ method I mentioned would prevent a double NAT. It should be resolved in the next update, this is a workaround until that is available.
  6. What about if you use the Games Console rule for example?
  7. PPPoE will be the cause, can you have the BT router handle that instead with the XR in the DMZ of the BT router?
  8. Looks like you've assigned a different IP than it had before so reboot the router, wait 2 minutes before accessing and see if it still disconnects.
  9. I'll add your name to the list for when we expand the group! Unlikely to be an Open Beta but we'll monitor and if we feel that is right and Netgear agree then we might.
  10. That's good to know, the XR doesn't have the DPI update currently so that makes sense!
  11. Possibly but where is it that you're testing the speeds, is it on Connection Benchmark or speedtest.net for example?
  12. That decision belongs to Netgear so I couldn't answer that but I haven't heard anything about ending support and we have plans for firmware yet to come so I don't think it's anything you need to worry about!
  13. Hey, welcome to the forum! Where are you testing the speeds exactly? Can you provide a screenshot of your QoS page please?
  14. Not sure if that's a question for us or not but we're not going to interfere with game mechanics. We made some new banners for the Nighthawk and R2 Early Access groups so you'll now get the banner for your group or the R2 banner if you're in both groups.
  15. You can find the firmware versions here: https://www.netgear.com/support/product/XR500.aspx#download so you can try the manual update and see if that works for you
  16. Desconecte el enrutador de la alimentación durante 24 horas, luego conéctelo, espere 2 minutos y vea si hace lo mismo. En algunos casos, dejarlo desenchufado durante tanto tiempo puede devolverlo a la vida.
  17. That's not too bad at all really, the ping is slightly higher but that just may be your ping to the Google server (which we use for the test) and so could be lower elsewhere. Other than that it looks to be quite stable so not a cause for concern really.
  18. It's very unlikely to be honest but thanks for the kind words!
  19. ¿Cuándo comenzó a ocurrir exactamente el problema? ¿Después de un corte de energía, actualización de firmware, cambio de configuración, etc.?
  20. Great to hear that! The R2 is definitely better supported currently, a worthy upgrade in my opinion!
  21. Hey, welcome to the forum! Do try the method Tray suggested - it's exactly what I would have advised you to do. Let us know how you get on!
  23. Interesting okay, I think it would be good to try the Early Access firmware as if it's still an issue on that then we can debug it more easily
  24. Yes but if you change firmware version to check if any of them are more stable for you or do they all have the issue? You've checked it's only connecting using HTTP?
