Unplug the R2 from power, wait for 30 seconds, hold the Factory Reset button, while continuing to hold plug the power back into the R2 and keep holding the reset for 30 seconds then release. Wait 4 minutes, then try accessing please, do a normal reboot and see if it has reset again please.

We are aware of some UPnP issues so that will be resolved, in the meantime utilizing port forwarding should allow you to get an open NAT. Also, If your ISP modem/router has WiFi, set it up so that it is in bridge or modem mode, you can also use the DMZ. Copy the WAN IP from the R3 (found in Settings > WAN) and enter it into the DMZ function on the ISP modem/router. Steady Ping can stabilize a game when you're unable to ping a server so both don't need to be happening for it to work. If you're playing on a console, try this, remove the console from the Geo-Filter and in the Device Manager change it to a PC then re-add it to the Geo-Filter, does it work better then?

Are you seeing anything on the map at all when it says in active?

What platform are you playing the Finals on? When playing does SmartBOOST show traffic?

Could you provide a screenshot of what you're seeing on the map when it is connecting you outside the radius please?

On SmartBOOST when you're playing is it actually detecting and prioritizing traffic and so just not being shown or is it not prioritizing at all? The WiFi should be comparable yes, try this: Split the bands, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _

Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it should work then.

I totally understand your point, at our heart we're a software company so bringing out multiple models would be a massive undertaking for us and very expensive! Just having a quick look at Netgears' net worth it's in the hundreds of millions, we certainly don't have that kind of budget. Never say never, the next one would be an improvement in hardware so probably would support higher than 1Gbps but we're not even entertaining that at the moment having just launched the R3.

What devices are they specifically? They don't have the Private/Random MAC addresses option enabled do they? (I know you mentioned the MAC is the same) Good catch on the network activity there, seems like we need to do a better job of handling devices behind an AP, I will pass that on, thank you!

When it happens could you right click the page go to Inspect Element. Then in the window that appears go to Network, tick disable cache, click and hold the browser refresh button until you see hard refresh and empty cache, click that, does it load then? If not on the same window go to the console tab, refresh the page and provide a screenshot of any errors that appear there please

You needed to remove the device from the Geo-Filter first, do that then you can add it as a PC. I think the history aspect needs a bit of work - as long as you're seeing gaming prioritized you're good. Reboot via the button on the back and see if it stays then. Are you accessing using HTTPS?

Not recognized in what way, showing offline? Do you still see icons on the map?

Technically that should be VoIP, do you see it showing up for that?

Actually some people are reporting the opposite way round that it plays better as a PC, e.g Changing a console to be a PC so I think there is something for the team to look at there. If it works for you that's great!

No, Device Manager is just under reporting the strength of the WiFi, the WiFi is strong given the db values you're getting
