  1. Sent. Thank you!
  2. Possibly it could be just introducing a new router into your setup, some ISPs seem to take a little while to get settled when there is a new router. A good test would be to take the MAC address of your previous router and make the R3 use that instead. As well as dialing in your Congestion Control/SmartBOOST settings. If you're using WiFi instead of ethernet experiment with the channels/widths to find what works best for you. I've also provided a firmware via PM that may improve things.

  4. When you switched the PS over to WiFi did it appear on the Device Manager as a new device or the same device? What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how is that setup? Definitely good to know about UPnP. Glad to hear you're enjoying it overall, no worries at all, Merry Christmas to you too!
  5. Sent to you all, thanks for the kind words!
  6. I've sent you a link to redownload it instead, see if that works please
  7. What ping are you seeing on the R3 exactly? Have you setup Congestion Control on the R3?
  8. On the printer has you pressed/started WPS as well?
  9. Does it give you an error when trying to upgrade?
  10. In addition to the above, the in game ping will be higher due to the processing delay on the game, this isn't something we can calculate as it's on the game side. 20-30ms higher than what the Geo-Filter shows is fine, anything higher than that would indicate the server is under heavy load and you should force a different server.
  11. What is the model of your modem/router the R3 is connected to? Do you know if you need PPPoE or VLAN to get a connection?
  12. Could you provide a screenshot from this page in your web browser please? chrome://gpu I've sent you another firmware to try just in case it helps
  13. If you do a speed test on the console do you see anything in Network Activity for it? Are you using the Xbox Insider Program software instead of the normal public one? Sent
  14. I have sent you both the firmware via PM but if you're having issues after please do make a topic for yourself and we can help you more effectively.
  15. Hey Pro, to answer your questions: That is definitely plausible, thank you for highlighting that issue, I will pass that onto the team. If you get server cannot ping that is usually for a reason and so is expected, we're just unable to ping that server. Waiting for host less so. I have sent you a firmware in a PM that has some Geo-Filter improvements, let us know if that helps at all! I've seen this but not sure how to reproduce, after the reboot was the PS detected by a different name or anything like that?
  16. If the SSID changed it sounds like it may have lost power and did a weird half reset. Do you have a browser based Adblocker that could be blocking it?
  17. Are you seeing this outside of games or just in games? Do you see a ping increase at all and if so by how much? What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how is that set up? Are ALL devices connected to the R3? How have you setup Congestion Control? It could be the ethernet cable connecting the R3 to your ISP router, if you swap it out for another do you get the same issue? I have sent you a firmware to try just in case but I think it's more of a setting issue or potentially the ethernet cable.
  18. We're aware it's not 100% reliable at the moment, I believe part of that is due to the servers used and partly a bug but it should still work, it may not every time though. If you do a speedtest.net then you could enter the speeds manually for the moment.
  19. What device are you trying to connect to the router using WPS?
  20. Did you have SmartBOOST prioritizing Twitch at the time? Was Congestion Control set?
  21. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to? Are ALL devices connected to the R3? What values do you have said for Congestion Congestion Control?
  22. Hello, welcome to the forum! Glad you're impressed with it, to answer your questions: Yes likely you'll need to port forward, it doesn't have that toggle option you're referring to though I've mentioned it to the team to potentially be added It's not dynamic in that it will do tests frequently and adjust Congestion Control - as the test disconnects you from the internet it's best not to have it do that. Otherwise yes CC won't change once you've accepted the Optimizer results unless you redo the test or change them manually. No those options aren't available but it has been requested so may be added in future Thank you, Happy Holidays!
  23. Good to hear it has improved! After the holidays the team will be able to provide more updates. Extra WiFi options have been requested so they're on the list.
  24. Thanks for the screenshot, the firmware shouldn't have affected it at all but I'll send you one to see if it happens on that as well.
