You'll need to factory reset then, it's the only solution. Official I don't know as that is entirely up to Netgear

R3 PS5 Gaming traffic not prioritizing.
Netduma Fraser replied to JasonKnight's topic in Community Discussion
How do you have SmartBOOST setup to detect gaming exactly? What firmware version are you on? -
It's specifically Geo-Latency causing it? When you see the message with it enabled do you see anything on the map blocked if you zoom out fully?

adblocker running on r3 DumaOS Version 4.0.23

Try adding this list: https://easylist.to/easylist/easylist.txt -
I've sent you .23 via PM, you can upgrade from Settings > Troubleshooting, once complete I'd recommend doing a factory reset. Yes it is safe

Could a Windows Update cause problems?
Netduma Fraser replied to JHuntVols's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Not necessarily but if your telling the router it's getting more speed than it actually is then its using those values for QoS. So for example, seems your max speeds are ~700ish, you tell the router you have 1000Mbps and you drop the percentages to 85% it's doing nothing because it's not actually got to your speeds yet. That would throw out any changes you make to get your bufferbloat down, if you correct that you should get better results. No, the bottom graph is the part to focus on and that doesn't show any packet loss. -
Future of Dumaos R&D...

I mean you could stick the app on it and use it that way? -
NetDuma R2 Geofence, but only for a few devices...
Netduma Fraser replied to antithesis's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Yes but you could put the R2 in the DMZ on the upstream router and that will eliminate it -
It does have some Geo-Filter improvements yes but we'll be continuing to improve it in subsequent firmware

NetDuma R2 Geofence, but only for a few devices...
Netduma Fraser replied to antithesis's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Since a Destiny 2 update it's actually quite hard to filter so I'm not sure that would work, this is something that we have worked around with DumaOS 4 - making games that are unfilterable, filterable. It will come at a later date. You can't set the router into bridge or anything like that but you can just connect it as a router. The upstream router would apply any QoS rules to the R2 which by extension would also affect the devices connected to it. -
If your ISP modem/router has WiFi, set it up so that it is in bridge or modem mode, you can also use the DMZ. Copy the WAN IP from the R3 (found in Settings > WAN) and enter it into the DMZ function on the ISP modem/router. You should get an Open NAT then with either UPnP or port forwarding on the R3.

Okay let us know if you see it on the new version, make sure to do a factory reset also

Could a Windows Update cause problems?
Netduma Fraser replied to JHuntVols's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Either an issue on the ISP side then or it's just the max you can achieve at the time, the speed may vary throughout the day depending on the time you test it -
Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it should work then. As for the ping it might be a relay server, as in there is a server close by you're connecting to that is connecting you to London and the router is reading the ping the relay server

No .23 was from before the holidays on the first week of launch. The issue is actually a regression which is actually a good thing as we identified the internal version it was introduced in and so can work backwards from there to identify what changed.
-
You only need to use it if you require it for internet, otherwise its not needed
-
The team have identified the error it is causing when trying to do so, I expect they'll fix it relatively quickly

Could a Windows Update cause problems?
Netduma Fraser replied to JHuntVols's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
The gateway will test directly to the ISP so it won't hit the open internet which is why it tests higher. Speedtest.net is more accurate of what speeds devices will see, try other speedtest sites just to make sure -
That would be perfect thank you, have a good evening too!
-
That shouldn't be necessary but you can do so if you wish
-
If you're connecting the R3 to the fritz then you shouldn't need to enter VLAN on the R3. What are you trying to achieve? What isn't working exactly?
