That's how Ping Assist works, you've told it to connect you with games under 60ms so it's done that - games under 60ms may be outside your radius and therefore you can then connect to them. If you want to exclusively use the radius Ping Assist should be set to 0. When you deny a server fully the connection has to be completely severed before it can be blocked, if you research immediately the connection can be kept alive and therefore it does not become blocked. The next time you go to play after a break it'll be blocked, if you restart the game/console it will sever the connection and be blocked. Keep in mind there are usually lots of servers clusters in the same location. You may not connect to all the servers within the radius, you can try to force those specifically by just covering them but some servers are notoriously hard to force.

FIRMWARE: 3.3.308 Smart QoS (Hit Detection)
Netduma Fraser replied to TODDzillaInLA's topic in Call of Duty Support
Sorry didn't mean sent, meant added, you have access to it here https://forum.netduma.com/forum/144-netduma-r2-early-access/ No, no creo que vaya a llegar al R1. Added -
As it's the holidays everyone is off until the new year so they'll look at everything then and firmware updates will start to come out over the course of January
-
At the moment it just has the toggle but it has been requested for more IPv6 options so it's on the list for potential future inclusion
-
Great thank you, will be very keen to hear if this is the cause

This should be how R3 works not backward…
Netduma Fraser replied to jorlanjorge's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Could you clarify what that means? There are a lot of things you could have done. Settings do need to be fine tuned and a firmware won't do that -
I feel like i'm 1s behind everybody

How do you have QoS and the Geo-Filter setup? -
So literally none of those suggestions did anything whatsoever for the WiFi?

R3 needs rebooting everyday to access phone app/web page
Netduma Fraser replied to SamT98's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Could you both disable SmartBOOST entirely from > Settings please and then see if you get the same issue? -
Duma OS wouldn't open, reboot R3 to fix problems.
Netduma Fraser replied to COD WARFARE's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Would you have usually got the issue by this point? -
If you're upgrading through the interface without a manual file reboot then try and it should work

Let us know all the issues you're having, we can help to resolve them or we can assure you it's on our list or we can pass it on to have a look at. Sounds like Adblocker could be making sites slower than usual. WiFi should be able to be improved with settings: Split bands, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _

Quite a few differences, the main ones that would affect you is the software, I'll work on a comparison list for the hardware. This will give you a good idea overall https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCU0-ELvZkOqiQFGXII95B7063uASKQlO

We're aware Ping Optimizer/Speed Test isn't 100% reliable at the moment and we'll be working to resolve that in the new year, it can still work though. In the meantime it may be best to adjust Congestion Control in Ping Optimizer > Advanced
-
Yes you can do as above if you have the physical file

Massive Ping Spikes and Packet Loss with R3
Netduma Fraser replied to hendrix69's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I was with Virgin Media and I always found the modem mode unstable at times, I would suggest using it in router mode with the R3 in its DMZ. Then have ALL devices connected to the R3, make sure you setup Congestion Control in Ping Optimizer > Advanced to use Always and then maybe 70%/70% for example, do you see the same thing then? -
It looks like it might have WiFi is that right? Does it have an interface you can connect to? Uninstall the app and then reinstall it and it should work then. Sent in a PM

For Fortnite you wouldn't have been able to filter this previously so if you're able to now that is a big improvement. Steady Ping won't work for every game, we should make that more clear. If SmartBOOST is working properly you may not notice it, it'll just ensure everything is running smoothly. Speedtest/Ping Optimizer uses the same servers and depending on your routing/location in relation to them you may not get the best results. We'll be improving this where possible. How have you set Congestion Control manually to eliminate Bufferbloat? We know exactly what this issue is and the team will be fixing it when they're back. Sent to you both

Internet Optimiser Activation issue
Netduma Fraser replied to Mr MuRFiE's topic in Telstra Internet Optimiser support
I think this would be one for @mannrs to help with when he is able to as it's more of a situation between you and Telstra that we can't do anything with. -
Duma OS wouldn't open, reboot R3 to fix problems.
Netduma Fraser replied to COD WARFARE's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Oh no I don't think that'll be the issue. Which firmware is this exactly? There are a few versions. Have you factory reset since the update? If not please do that and see if you get more stability. Could you disable SmartBOOST fully from > Settings and see whether you get the not loaded issue please? -
Ping stabilizer no stabilized ping whats going on?
Netduma Fraser replied to Movement's topic in Netduma R3 Support
It's unlikely it's specific to the playlist the way that it is behaving, there are still improvements to be done, it's not stabilizing every time, we'll be working on it. -
If it says cannot ping this server that is usually legitimate. What ping setting did you change exactly? Disable Geo-Latency, do you get the same issue? It still may appear to search in the same way if it gets games within your radius. -- I've sent you all the firmware with Geo-Filter improvements in a PM, some of you may have it already
-
Thanks for the reports, will pass it on. Sent you both the firmware.
