Please provide the ID of the server shown on the Geo-Filter when you connect to it. It could be mislocated and not able to ascertain the real ping, it's also possible the game may be including processing delay in their ping calculation

Unify express ubiquity an R3 compatibility
Netduma Fraser replied to fds's topic in Netduma R3 Support
You'd have to have the Unify at the top so it can control the network with it's QoS and then the R3 connected to it for the Geo-Filter aspect. I don't think it's necessary to do so and would be better to use the R3 for both functions -
Does it appear to only be blocking when it tries loading into a match then? Can you see an icon on the map before that happens? SP may not always be needed

I think we'll be putting out a new cloud update this week so it should be improved
-
That's great to hear, thanks for the update!

If you have a steady ping already that doesn't fluctuate much then quite possibly you'll have a better experience without it as otherwise you're just adding unnecessary ping. We provide the features that you can experiment with but it doesn't mean everything has to be used, some people will find a better experience without it. Every connection is different.

You're not using the VPN on the router or on the router WiFi in that scenario so it's not really relevant. As I said slower speeds through OpenVPN is expected through the router so I can't help you to improve that.
-
And it actually shows as online on the Device Manager? If you do a speedtest on the console does the Network Activity page show the traffic for the console? It's very unlikely to be a bug. Have you connected the PlayStation via WiFi and ethernet to the router at some point?
-
Click the X where it says tap to set the home and then try again please. Does the PlayStation show active on the Device Manager?
-
I don't see how that has happened really and certainly not expected so I can't really advise on how to get back to a state that shouldn't have been possible in the first place
-
Then I would say it is highly likely that it was set in a way where either the speedtest isn't being covered by the VPN or the device itself wasn't covered properly

Please provide a screenshot of your Geo-Filter of what it looks like when you're in a game

I'll chase the team
-
It's a German server so it's a mislocated server, I'll get the team to correct it. Make sure you follow the steps I mentioned again, as you're on a console actually shut it down (not in standby/instant on), make sure the Geo-Filter is enabled before you turn on the console and do not change Geo-Filter settings while on the game. Ping Assist should also be off and try just with the normal radius and moving your location to force the server you want or do the country selection instead.

I don't think it is necessary no
-
So on the map it's showing this server in Oklahoma city and then a controller icon outside your radius also? Disable Geo-Latency, does it work better then?
-
No because the game will never utilize that much bandwidth and with prioritizing it you should never have a problem with it getting what it needs
-
There has never been a limiter on DumaOS 4 which the R3 launched with right away so no that's not possible. The closest thing to limiting is what you have done by reducing the speed you've told the router you have
-
No it doesn't act as a limiter per se but it guarantees that should the device need that amount (it never would for gaming) then it will get it, even if something else is trying to use up all your bandwidth

It does already support it, do this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter If you're on PC then give it the PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Does it work then?

Sorry I don't quite understand, could you clarify please?
