  1. PPPoE is basically just you logging in to the internet so as long as either your ONT or the EE router, whatever has the capability to do so is handling it and you remove the PPPoE details from the XR then it will work fine. Just make sure to have all devices connected to the XR still.
  2. Remove the rule and add your device with the Games Console service instead, does it work then?
  3. I'll have to check with the team to see if they can force an upgrade through for you, to save time if you could make yourself accessible that'd be helpful: If your ISP modem/router has WiFi, set it up so that it is in bridge or modem mode, you can also use the DMZ. Copy the WAN IP from the R2 (found in System Information) and enter it into the DMZ function on the ISP modem/router. Disable IPv6 in LAN/WAN on the R2 and enable remote support in Settings. Then post back here from a device connected to the R2 when you've done that and we'll attempt to connect.
  4. Download the firmware to your phone, then try upgrading via the DumaOS app please
  5. Is this after a reboot? Are you accessing the interface via HTTPS rather than HTTP? Do you have a browser based Adblocker enabled, if so disable and try again please.
  6. I'm checking in with a dev with the log to see if they can determine the problem and will come back to you
  7. I'm checking in with the cloud person and will come back to you
  8. Can you provide a screenshot of your entire Geo-Filter page when this happens please?
  9. It'll be due to PPPoE which is an issue we are aware of. Have the upstream modem/router/ONT handle PPPoE instead if possible so the XR just does DHCP and it will work
  10. Good suggestion, I'll add it to the list!
  11. Reboot then try to upgrade to this version please: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ctjppykaasmorxp/DumaOS-R2-3.0.394.sig?dl=0
  12. What do you mean is it normal exactly? Updates can get pulled if they're deemd too unstable yes, working with another software/hardware partner also causes delays yes
  13. It's likely the router auto updated to the public version, go back to the beta, disable auto update on the firmware upgrade page and check again
  14. Yes that's correct, keep us posted!
  15. Have you seen whether you get the same issue on the DumaOS 4 beta?
  16. Is it only on the speedtest you notice the latency or does it appear elsewhere also? If you do a PingPlotter test for example do you see the same?
  17. It's very difficult to say, after a reboot any devices that had active traffic presumably wouldn't so wouldn't be taking up any bandwidth. When the line appears to be unstable, are the speeds reduced? What is the latency like exactly? If you look at the network monitor when its unstable is there a lot of bandwidth being used?
  18. Try with download & upload at 70% each and see if your overall experience improves
  19. You can find them in Settings > Troubleshooting > Advanced
  20. Presumably you'd want to set Steady Ping to somewhere in between it being off/on so +5ms above your normal ping so set to 23/24ms something like that and try it. Not Ping Optimizer, go to Ping Optimizer > Advanced, how is Congestion Control setup there?
  21. Bridge or having the R3 in its DMZ would be best yes. Congestion Control is what Ping Optimizer sets, you can adjust it manually in Ping Optimizer > Advanced, how is it set? How have you setup SmartBOOST?
  22. Do you get the same issue if you disable the Geo-Filter?
  23. That makes no sense at all, please grab the logs from the router when it happens and we can take a look
  24. Lost frames/packet loss could be helped by utilizing QoS (Congestion Control & Traffic Prioritization) so I would highly recommend utilizing those features and experimenting to find what works best for you. A disconnect isn't the same as packet loss so if it's a disconnect and not packet loss then thats more significant. Please grab the logs from the System Information page when you next disconnect please. For extra information: https://support.netduma.com/docs/dumaos-3/
  25. Game servers don't always respond to pings, so that's why it won't always be able to ping the server - there is nothing you can do about it. Steady Ping adds a delay to your game ping so you have a consistent ping, for simple it only adds about 8ms on average. Switch to expert and adjust it manually to find the value that works best for you. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3? What are the speeds you pay for/receive? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? How have you setup SmartBOOST? What platform are you playing on and how is it connected, via ethernet or WiFi?
