Buenos días, Estoy encantado con el XR500, pero tengo un extraño problema que no consigo resolver, aquí os lo expongo: Cuando intento acceder, desde mis dispositivos por WIFI a mi NAS dentro de mi red local, el acceso es muy lento y me suele dar error por timeout. Contexto: -Ayer instale la ultima beta, 120, restauré a fabrica e importe los ajustes previamente guardados. Antes me pasaba igual -Tengo una conexión de fibra 600/600 que funciona bien -Tengo un pequeño NAS con varios servicios funcionando en docker. -El resto funciona perfectamente, es decir navego al exterior via wifi o por cable sin problemas. -Probado con un iMac, MacbookPro, SmartTv, iPad, iPhone, etc. -la conexión al NAS por cable desde el iMac es buena. Por wifi mal. -desde la smartTV, el mismo problema, por cable bien, por wifi mal -la conexión al NAS por wifi desde el AP, no desde el XR500, es buena también. Este AP esta conectado al XR500 por cable cat7 -Tengo, también, el mismo problema que otros usuarios, el router dice que esta en DE y yo estoy en ES. Conflicto. ¿que es lo que esta pasando? ¿Solución? Saludos y gracias, Jose

In the past I would be able to block out servers outside the london and uk servers thus allowing for smoother gameplay (the whole reason i bought the router), and now ever since around a month ago ive not been able to connect to any local servers and have instead been constantly pushed to servers in Germany and france etc even with an outline drawn. Is there any reason for this? Ive not changed any of my settings

I can’t geo filter any more on destiny server will there be an update or so to help get back into doing it or an ETA when it could be fixed I’ve tried everything from resetting the router to configuring it & also strict mode but nothing works at all. Should I just give up & return my router? I have the xr1000 & it worked well for 2 weekends now it’s like I can’t do anything anymore.
  4. Hey guys, so I bought an Xr1000 a couple of days ago and I just realized that the Upload Qos doesn't work, not even a little bit. The Qos Download works without any problems. I already saw some posts here and it looks like that this is a well known problem for over 2 years!? My Modem is the Draytek Vigor 165 - PPPoe does the Xr1000 so basically my setup is Draytek "Full Bridge Mode, none Vlan or PPPoe - XR1000" PPPoe, Vlan activate, DHCP. What can I do right now? Should I just wait for an firmware update which will be released idk in the next few Months or is there anything else I can do to make this pain in the ass, work? I saw some posts where someone mentioned that it should work if I just set up the Draytek with the PPPoe connection but I tried for like 5 hours but this shit didn't worked.... "im not an expert guys" So if someone could tell me what I should do step by step I would gladly appreciate it

  7. Hey! This ping problem is kinda difficult to explain: A few weeks ago I encountered a big latency problem while sending text messages over WhatsApp. It took multiple seconds to send a message and almost 10 seconds for a voice message. (My connection: 60mbits down and 12 up.) I checked my ping via Speedtest.net and Fast.com: 9-10ms. I restarted the router and it was fine again. As the problem occurred a second time I checked my ping on another website (Its a German website as Im from Germany) www.wieistmeineip.de. It reported a ping of 1900ms! I restarted the router and it was back to 160ms (Speedtest was still reporting 9-10ms). This seems to be some kind of multi-server ping maybe?? Anyway, I connected the xr700 behind our DSL-modem/router and tested this kind of ping on its WiFi (5Ghz) (90-110ms) constantly. I finally managed to isolate the problem. It was the guest network I had set up. It was causing the 160ms normally and the enormous ping spikes of almost 2 seconds (reported by www.wieistmeineip.de). This affected 5Ghz aswell as 2.4Ghz when both guest networks were on. Also this kind of ping seems to be "used" in things like tweeting tweets or chatting on Discord. Do you guys know what this kind of ping is? Anyway, this kind of ping on the xr700 seems to be on point with our modem/router now and I dont have those huge spikes anymore. Its just weird that the guest network causes this weird problems with the normal network if its just enabled and no one is on it. Btw. I get those huge ping spikes (2 seconds) with this kind of latency constantly on the guest networks. The ping spike problem when the guest network was enabled happened after 24-30 uptime. The website that I mentioned states that it sends 5 packets for testing.
  8. So trying to connect to the vpn, the vpn im using is Hide my ass, i I bought it to not have to add configs etc. I tryed whit many diffrent locations aswell. The account is working and i have been trying the client version of the vpn and its working fine. So i went to Hide my ass and downloaded all configs. But the it only keept loading for like 30 minutes, i have restarted my router 2 times and klickt the enabel button on end of. and now i getting this error: Failed to communicate with router.
