The test you're using is an approximation, if you do the test when your network is quiet vs when it's busy you may well get different results, I wouldn't worry too much about getting perfect results 100% of the time. With Congestion Control active bufferbloat can't occur so as long as you've got generally good results I'd suggest sticking with that and see how it performs for you when gaming etc.

Are you using PPPoE? If so we are aware of this issue and are working on it. If in the meantime you can have your ISP modem/router handle PPPoE instead that should prevent it happening.

You've not set the correct bandwidth speeds that's probably why, set them to what you pay for/expect and try again

I couldn't say, I don't know anything about the stability of your ping - if you notice your ping on the Geo-Filter/game fluctuates (i.e. it doesn't stay at 50) then I'd at least recommend giving it a try and see how it feels. Some people love it, others don't, find what works best for you and stick with that.

Could you resync the cloud and then immediately grab the logs from the System Information page please? -
This is what we've been told/seen in testing but it doesn't necessarily mean the server will always be available to connect to. I've been told they're doing a big update today introducing crossplay and using proper dedicated servers so the servers may be changing, we will test and update if needed.

I'm not sure I understand but Ping Optimizer just adjusts the Congestion Control percentages to limit your ping so you can achieve this by manually changing the percentages - you could use a bufferbloat test to see how well this is working and fine tune the percentages for example

The search ping is just saying it's looking for games up to that ping value so you can get games below that ping. They are starting to counter act VPNs now so it is possible that part of their method to do that is by limiting pings over a certain value. If it works then stops working there isn't really anything the Geo-Filter/we can do about it, the game knows what you can/can't connect to in that moment and is choosing not to allow you into a game. -

How many servers do you have in your radius and how far away is the server from you that you're trying to force? What is the ping where it seems to stop searching? -
It doesn't allow a less jittery server, it applies extra ping to give you a constant steady ping that would absorb any of the spikes/jitter you'd normally receive - it will show stabilized on the ping window when this happens

What is the VPN location you're using and the Geo-Filter location?

Is the main SmartBOOST page showing priority traffic? Were you doing any gaming when this screenshot was taken?

That's great to hear, thanks for the update!

Please resync the cloud from the Ping Heatmap menu and then the servers should ping correctly -

Could you provide the full logs please when it happens, I appreciate you providing the snippets you think are relevant but the full logs would be much more helpful -
No I'd suggest keeping UPnP enabled

Copy the WAN IP from the R3 WAN Settings page and enter that into the DMZ in the orange box interface. You can then put the Xbox in the DMZ on the R3. That should resolve the NAT issues. There are guides at support.netduma.com also check the help that is in the settings on most of the pages -
Duma OS is stuck on Duma OS is loading......
Netduma Fraser replied to gazwally's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Unplug the router from power for 10 minutes, plug in, wait 4 minutes (all this with the interface not open) then try to access and see if it loads please -
It's better to input the accurate speeds you get/receive and then reduce the Congestion Control percentages to eliminate bufferbloat. I'd suggest disabling IPv6 for the moment yes

NEW R3 FIRMWARE - DumaOS 4.0.540
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Netduma R3 Support
You'll definitely want to do a factory reset, it's quite a big change from the previous version, once you've done that it should be more stable. Close the tab after initiating the reset and wait 4 minutes before accessing it again. -
They're not blocking Geo-Filtering, they're preventing people with really high pings connecting essentially. The above is normal when you boot up the game with a radius over an area - it won't always show the servers you can connect to. Zoom out fully when it happens, there is likely an authentication server being blocked, add that to your allow list and you should be able to continue - you may need to do this a few times to get all the authentication servers in that area. If you provide us with the IDs for those we can get them allowed.

As you've added the device manually it would be a manual allocation
