To force servers you need to do the following: It's essential the Geo-Filter is enabled before the game client (e.g. Steam etc) if on PC or platform (e.g. Xbox, PlayStation) or the game have been launched. If you change Geo-Filter settings when you're on the game then you will need to restart the game for those changes to take effect, otherwise it will use the previous Geo-Filter settings and appear not to be working. For settings ensure Ping Assist and Geo-Latency are disabled in the Geo-Filter menu that can be found by clicking ⋮ in the top right hand corner of the page and go to Settings. Strict Mode should also be enabled, it is enabled by default so if you haven't disabled it you can ignore it. If you have disabled it or want to check it can be found in the same Settings menu as above or in Settings > Troubleshooting > Advanced > Developer Options depending on your firmware version. Fast Search should also be disabled which it is by default so can be ignored if you haven't changed it, otherwise this can be found in the same place.

Geofiltering not working (EA FC 26)
Netduma Fraser replied to drentenaar's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Yes that's correct. Okay check the IP on the device itself and then check that against the device you think it is on the Device Manager, do the IPs match? -
If you set it up again that way we can help with those issues also.

Geofiltering not working (EA FC 26)
Netduma Fraser replied to drentenaar's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
That's correct, do this: Quit the application/game/client completely - including the game client from the System Tray - important! Remove device from the Geo-Filter Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client It's essential the Geo-Filter is enabled before the game client or the game have been launched. If you change Geo-Filter settings when you're on the game then you will need to restart the game for those changes to take effect, otherwise it will use the previous Geo-Filter settings and appear not to be working. -
I can only go based on the information provided and what I can see are various aspects of your setup that could cause packet loss and instability so I can't rule them out. Networking has many variables and things change all the time. If you haven't changed anything then it is quite possible it's on the ISP side, the first step would be to see if you get the same issue when connected to the ISP modem/router. If you do then that's the cause, if you don't then you'd need to setup in the way I mentioned as much as possible to rule out those possibilities. I'm sure if you set it up again that way we can help with those issues also.

Geofiltering not working (EA FC 26)
Netduma Fraser replied to drentenaar's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
How isn't it working properly exactly? By labelled do you mean you renamed it or you gave it the PlayStation device type? -
Okay so just a normal extender then, that's not what bridge mode is really. The extender being connected to the XR via WiFi is going to have some inherent instability and due to your setup traffic has more hops to go so I'd ideally suggest you connect to the your PC directly to the XR if possible. Also not connecting devices to the XR so it isn't congested isn't advised, the XR is designed to specifically deal with multiple devices and congestion, ALL devices should be connected to the XR so it can control the entire network effectively. You've setup Congestion Control how exactly - an in your current setup that's essentially doing nothing, connect everything to the XR then fine tune your Congestion Control settings. Traffic Prioritization will then also be effective as currently it's not prioritizing your PC over anything if it is setup.

Do you have an Open NAT? Have you made any port forwarding rules or internet rules on the R3?

1% isn't terrible overall, you should be able to play without too many issues, any higher than that and you would definitely notice issues. Where are you measuring the packet loss, using the in game stats or elsewhere? You've used a website above for that test, under what circumstances did you perform the test, i.e. what was happening on the network at the time? What do you mean by bridge mode exactly in this scenario? Is your setup EE router > XR1000 > Extender > PC? Is the extender connected via WiFi or ethernet to the XR1000? How have you set the EE router to ensure all traffic flows to the XR? E.g XR in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the XR1000 or extender or do you still have some connected to the EE router? What are the speeds you pay for/receive? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? How have you setup Traffic Prioritization?

Just to clarify, is your issue with joining matches or just pinging?

I need help with the geo-filter for Battlefield 6.

Thank you for the feedback, I'll pass it on -
We are aware of some users getting disconnects with PPPoE, so go back to the default settings on your ISP modem/router and then just add the R3 WAN IP (found on the R3 in Settings > WAN or the IP shown on the ISP modem/router as a connected device) into the DMZ on the ISP modem/router. The ISP modem/router should then handle PPPoE/VLAN instead of the R3 and you shouldn't get any more disconnects when connected to the R3.

Without the Geo-Filter being enabled there isn't really anything inhibiting the search, is this with the device completely deleted from the Geo-Filter it still happens?

We're working on some cloud updates currently specifically for BF6 so this will be improved upon and should be more accurate overall. It will resolve the annoying Oklahoma issue also. Once done they'll be pushed to your router automatically, you don't have to do anything -

No need to post everywhere we'll always respond as quick as we can, I would highly recommend you don't upload documents like these with your full name and address publicly, I've removed them from here but I'd suggest you delete the messages on Twitter/X about them also. If it was Stealth Gamer you purchased from we are already in contact with them so we will respond to them with the necessary information, if it wasn't then email [email protected] please with the information provided here and we can get you sorted.

Apagar tudo para ver se volta ao normal.
Netduma Fraser replied to Rodolfo Lima's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Use a local site like a news website for example, something in your country specifically, if you're in a large country like the US then a local site such as a news site would be best -
Looks like you found it but for anyone else: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/60490-apagar-tudo-para-ver-se-volta-ao-normal

What do you get from speedtest.net rather than the in-built speed test via ethernet?
-
Thank you, I'll have them comment when/if they have managed to take a look

It doesn't revert the firmware, it always stays on the same version you were on when you did the factory reset. I posted in your previous topic regarding Congestion Control and you haven't replied yet

Get to the recovery options again and enable remote access and follow these instructions: If your ISP modem/router has WiFi, set it up so that it is in bridge or modem mode, you can also use the DMZ. Copy the WAN IP from the R3 (found in Settings > WAN) and enter it into the DMZ function on the ISP modem/router. Disable IPv6 in LAN/WAN on the R3 and enable remote support in Settings > Troubleshooting. Then post back here from a device connected to the R3 when you've done that and we'll attempt to connect. I'll see if I can get a dev to connect and see what may be happening.

There isn't a new firmware currently, the firmware pinned to the top of the Early Access sub forum is the latest
