Aide pour eliminé mon bufferbloat via le r2
Netduma Fraser replied to Hmz's topic in Netduma R2 Support
It's opening ports for a device the router doesn't think exists. Might be better to port forward the ports manually to the device. -
Bufferbloat and in game stutter with R3
Netduma Fraser replied to Aylinka's topic in Netduma R3 Support
It could definitely be the above, let us know if that helps at all. I wouldn't have thought so as it is your connection to the server that matters more. -
Worse Bufferbloat and various issues with R3

Matching the tick rate is definitely beneficial, it's better to be in sync than without it. Play with it both enabled/disabled and see which works best fpr ypi -
As DPI improves the Apex issue you mentioned will happen less and less. Guest WiFi is on the list to resolve. Ping Assist is still available in Settings on the Geo-Filter. Import/Export has been requested as well. I don't think we'll be allowing for a custom dashboard again to be honest. Table view for Device Manager has been requested as well. Thanks for the feedback!

That would be the only way to do it yes, could definitely work!

Bufferbloat and in game stutter with R3
Netduma Fraser replied to Aylinka's topic in Netduma R3 Support
It won't necessarily be the firmware, there are other variables outside of the router, what ping is the Geo-Filter/in game showing? -
Ping problem with local file transfer
Netduma Fraser replied to carmine19's topic in Netduma R3 Support
That makes sense, the PC is passing traffic over the network as well as playing a game using the internet so that's a lot of traffic for one device. Make sure just the game is prioritized and it should be better. -

It's hard to say without the graph showing properly but it is only adding a 5ms delay so that's the maximum it's seeing that it is fluctuating and your ping is low anyway so you probably could disable it and not notice the fluctuations much. It will change what it suggests depending on the time of day etc so may not always provide the best value for a whole day if you see what I mean. -
This is everything that could help really: Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _

Aide pour eliminé mon bufferbloat via le r2

Everything looks fine, although it seems UPnP is opening ports for a device that has been deleted/no longer connected to the router so disable UPnP, reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes, enable then reboot, and try again -
Is that a modem/router or a pure modem? Can you set a static WAN IP on the modem for the R3 for example?

More luck but everytime you know you're playing on a server you add it to your allow list and keep doing that until you've got a good number then put your location in the ocean. In theory it should then only get you a game from the servers you've allowed.

Could you clarify what you mean by login sites not working? To access the interface go to http://192.168.1.1 or http://routerlogin.net in your web browser

Thanks for the kind words! I'd suggest upgrading manually personally and if you have any issues that you don't have now you can always downgrade

RPC error 'ERROR_VALIDATION': Validation failed for 'ips'
Netduma Fraser replied to sacha's topic in Community Discussion
Could you provide more context on where/when you're getting this error? If it occurred after changing anything for example? -
The latest firmware is the .68 version available from the Netgear site, there isn't another firmware with a later DumaOS version than that currently
-
No we don't have the ability to do that unfortunately, I'm not sure if it would be possible to do so either as I suspect it's only detectable when you're actually in the game
