Geo Filter Error?
Netduma Fraser replied to The Honest Tiger's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Just click on the server icon in the US (disable Auto Ping first), then in the ping window you'll see the ID -
Yeah if you're never getting it with the Geo off (I know the game doesn't always put you on close servers hence the Geo-Filter) not even once then it's highly likely they're just not using it for some reason
-
If you do that then it should work but I don't know the exact process for how the game determines a host in that scenario
-
Don't have an ETA but it will be an improved version of DumaOS yes

New modem -- R2 not connecting to internet
Netduma Fraser replied to lostinsauce's topic in Netduma R2 Support
That doesn't bode well - Unplug the router from power for 24 hours, plug in, then wait 4 minutes before accessing and see if you can get internet. It may seem excessive but we have seen routers come back to life doing this and if it did get a power surge it would let any residual power drain fully. -
Use Simple instead of custom for the radius and it should stop that happening

New modem -- R2 not connecting to internet
Netduma Fraser replied to lostinsauce's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Well does the modem see the R2 as a connected device at all? Did you say the lights for the R2 LAN ethernet ports don't work? -
Geo Filter Error?
Netduma Fraser replied to The Honest Tiger's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Have you got any servers in your allow list? Otherwise they're both authentication servers for some reason, if you provide the ID for the US one I can take a look -
When you get a game, where is the server appearing on your Geo-Filter Map?
-
It's likely the maximum you'll get with the extra work the router is doing with VLAN. Is that with speed test bypass enabled? In troubleshooting > advanced if you disable the protection options that may boost the speeds slightly.

No Battlefield servers in Ping Heatmap!
Netduma Fraser replied to Deponeo's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I have requested it again already so likely we'll get it added. Are you able to connect to the Paris server with the Geo-Filter disabled? Not every game does that, the only game I've seen that does that is CoD when you load it up. -
Great advice from everyone on this!

Missing server MW3 in Austria.Netduma R3
Netduma Fraser replied to Zli's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I know he has done some updates, has it not changed at all? -
MWIII Spanish Servers lagging today
Netduma Fraser replied to Luis Gomes's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Great thanks, will pass it on! -
It's essentially the same as the original XR1000 so the latest firmware on there will be similar to the V2. They have to make a V2 due to a CPU shortage I believe for the original. An update will come to both that'll bring DumaOS 3.3.

NetDuma R3 - Firmware Stability Update When?
Netduma Fraser replied to InternetIsNice's topic in Netduma R3 Support
All that information is on the website, you'd also be hard pressed to find a router with those specs at the price we sold it for -
We'll definitely get them corrected if provided. That part was for the OP, what's the setup you're using?
-
Yes but did you enable it when you were already on the game or before you launched it? What other settings are you using, is Geo-Latency enabled for example?
-
That looks very similar to that Ping Optimizer graph so I think you'll need to adjust the percentages manually in Ping Optimizer > Advanced, start with 70% for both download/upload and see if you notice it again. Best to make a new topic and we can help you better there but if you provide the IDs of those servers we can correct them. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode

New modem -- R2 not connecting to internet
Netduma Fraser replied to lostinsauce's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Reboot the modem, wait 2 minutes, then reboot the R2, wait 2 minutes and then see if you get internet -
If they're not making it a connectable server then you can't force it. Are there any other servers within your radius?
-
I can't tell based on that, what settings are you using specifically? Did you enable the Geo-Filter before launching the game?
-
constant dropping connection even when plugged in directly.
Netduma Fraser replied to vvv's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Okay thanks for trying, we think we know why it's happening so it'll be fixed in the next firmware.
