  1. Thank you for the logs, I will pass that on. In the meantime do try the above and see if that helps at all. I've responded to your topic.
  2. No it doesn't but I think it should function that way, right now it applies to any device that is gaming, whether it is added or not. The jitter there is really minimal so that looks fine to me
  3. You can add the TVs to the VPN to just apply it to them yes. It wouldn't affect the NAT for gaming as it's just for the smart aspects of the TV not the console you'd be playing on.
  4. Right okay that's interesting, I don't think you would be able to force it to use servers over peers
  5. I've replied in your topic, lets continue there
  6. Thank you, I'll pass that onto the team to have a look at. In the meantime what is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to? How often are you noticing this happen? Is the R3 using DHCP, PPPoE or VLAN?
  7. I can't see that you've really made any posts about any issues you might be having, if you are having issues do make a new topic and we can help. Just because you may have issues doesn't mean everyone is as evidenced by some posts after yours. Also don't forget this is a support forum so primarily you will only see people posting issues. Were you having this on the previous versions? If not then may be worth downgrading while we look into it. If you get that error what do you need to do to gain access again? What are you getting direct to the modem? Make sure you don't have any wireless devices e.g. headphones, bluetooth etc within ~3 feet of the router, 2.4 is more susceptible to interference.
  8. You mention the in game ping goes up, are you playing on the rog or the PC that is sending/receiving the traffic? If so then I would expect that to happen
  9. Thank you, I will pass that onto the team and see if there is anything helpful there. In the meantime change Congestion Control manually in Ping Optimizer > Advanced.
  10. So the game has a kind of server/P2P hybrid model?
  11. So I tried to reproduce this n the same firmware version. The site still functions, however no videos played for me at all, as soon as I deleted the rules they were allowed to play. This is the expected behavior. I didn't have YouTube open already before I made the rule, if you did have it open while making the rule that is probably why yours didn't work and mine did. Make sure YouTube is fully closed on the device, wait 2 minutes, this should be enough for any connections to it to be severed, then make the rule then go back and see if you get the same behavior I did.
  12. It would be better to actually check websites that you normally get ads on served by these URLs to see if they're blocked as that is what it is designed to do, rather than checking Adblock tests
  13. Is the TP-Link definitely not handling PPPoE anymore? If you switch the R1 to DHCP for example does it then work?
  14. Could you provide the log from when that happens please?
  15. Did you do the port forwarding rule I mentioned above?
  16. As above and if you still get the same issue what is the message you see on the app?
  17. Exactly as above!
  18. It's never mandatory, whatever works best for you!
  19. We mentioned in the new topic that you'd see the update on the router over the next few days but you can install it manually before then: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/53938-new-r3-firmware-4041/ We won't necessarily put every single firmware version on the router itself for you to upgrade to - if there is a major issue it could wipe out the entire customer base so we'll post it here sometimes so we can control it and get direct feedback. The one I've linked to there is the very latest.
  20. Could you clarify what you mean exactly and what you've tried to do to resolve it?
  21. Yes RC14 is the one. Generally I would recommend factory resetting after the update which would also fix the issue you mentioned there.
  22. If you're looking for information on it just ask, we posted this in the new update topic: "Hybrid VPN development is complete for the R3 and is now in testing. We've redesigned the frontend for Hybrid-VPN to make it easier and clearer compared to DumaOS 3. We're excited for you to try it out! In the next few days, we'll be moving it to closed beta testing, and if all goes well, we should have it with you very soon along with fixes to make Ping Optimiser run more reliably and improved IPv6 support." If you want to send it back please make sure you have a look at netduma.com/terms and then email [email protected]
  23. If you try to login using the app when that happens does it work at all? We will definitely look into it. Thanks for the report, I will definitely get the team to take a look at it.
  24. I don't recall if they are included in the list, if you add them manually do they block or is that what you did?
