All it does is automatically ping the host of the game for you so unless you want to do it manually I'd suggest leaving it enabled

Reboot the modem, wait 2 minutes, reboot the R3, wait 2 minutes and see if you have internet then. How are you determining the router is restarting itself?

Try this: Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it should work then.

I was under the impression it was the above, that makes sense right? However, no, apparently it does apply to all devices and I have no idea why that decision was made. I am trying to get that changed.

In theory you shouldn't need to use their router no, if you needed VLAN you wouldn't have internet without it. Even with QoS fully disabled does the upload not move at all? If you use the Verizon router MAC address and set DumaOS to use that instead does that work better when just using ONT and router?

The Geo-Filter shows you what servers are available, we don't need to add anything for you to connect to them, unless they are mislocated - in which case you would still connect to them with it disabled we can't force you somewhere that is unavailable to play on

Okay interesting, never seen anyone report higher speeds with IPv6 enabled, we'll have to look into that. We do have some improvements to IPv6 in the next one which shouldn't be too far off so hopefully that resolves it for you.

What speed test are you testing the R3 with, the V speed test? What about speedtest.net?

Are you unplugging the modem at all by any chance?

DNS doesn't really make a difference for gaming but 1.1.1.1 primary & 1.0.0.1 secondary is a good option
