XR1000 BETA NEWS?
Netduma Fraser replied to DARKNESS's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Yeah it wasn't 3.3 annoyingly, we've got our CEO to chase them on this so hopefully it'll be released sooner rather than later. -

Netduma Fraser replied to alexnetduma's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Is this for the R2 or the R3? What VPN provider are you using? Can you provide your config please? -
I've responded in your other topic, lets continue there.

[Netduma R1 and R2] not working at all
Netduma Fraser replied to glaglaman's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Okay keep us posted! -
Yes I think that is likely the reason, it's purpose is to connect to VPN providers rather than a local VPN and so we haven't tested that functionality from what I am aware
-
Good to hear that was the cause, thanks for the update and posting the solution!

I don't no, I'm not a dev so I don't get told the technicals of individual fixes, might be worth doing what @Achilles is doing and seeing what the results are: -

XR1000 bufferbloat spikes.
Netduma Fraser replied to sam_2991's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
It's not a risk, you're not forwarding any ports, just prioritizing them. The origin port could be anything but likely to be the same as the port mentioned -
You have to access it via this URL http://192.168.77.1/dumaweb/#smartqos
-
Yeah that's what I meant, we'll be testing it for compatibility when available

Random disconnects with new firmware
Netduma Fraser replied to Achilles's topic in Netduma R3 Support
That's brilliant thank you, I will pass that on for the team to look at tomorrow! -
Probably best for the moment! We'll definitely be testing the game when available so we can't say for certain whether it can be filtered until then - we didn't think xdefiant would be a problem and it turned out to be

The OpenVPN config files are here: https://nordvpn.com/ovpn/ pick the one you want, download it and then you can paste the contents into the router

Still what I mentioned above

Default WiFi password I wouldn't know, it'd be based on the serial number. If that's not working then connecting via ethernet and then changing it would be best. You can ignore IPv6. Could you do the command prompt for the R2 please? -
There was an issue on a previous firmware using it so it should work now doing what you did, enter config, enter user/pass - just disable the VPN once you're done using it. We can't help with the SBMM side of things though.
-
Thank you, that indicates you're entering incorrect credentials, if you've done a reset or unplugged it then it's possible it's reverted to the default credentials admin / password

Random disconnects with new firmware

You shouldn't have to no but DHCP is the current theory from the devs. However, they have asked me to ask when it next happens: Is it all devices Is it wired or wireless Can you reconnect either by unplugging or reassociation on WiFi Can you reconnect if you set a static IP on your client? (I know you can access normally, you can ignore) Was there heavy download traffic going on? What time did it happen Can you post the logs If possible, can we get a wireshark capture of them trying to connect and failing
