  1. I'll let the team know about that server so they can get it added. You're throttling upload too much and download not enough, put them both at 70% then see if that behaves any better for you.
  2. Thanks for the feedback, you've returned the router and so it's not longer something we need to keep discussing, you have your position and I've given you our position on it. I'm not going to keep arguing this with you especially with personal comments involved.
  3. As above make sure DMZ is disabled, you don't need both enabled either, also what is the rule you're trying to make exactly?
  4. Okay so you're getting lower speeds because your traffic prioritization rule is being triggered - if you're not gaming then it's something else on the device using a port between 1024 - 65535 a torrent for example - if you figure out what that is and stop it the rule will stop triggering and you'll get normal speeds
  5. Added you both
  6. Did you set the reserved IPs? If you didn't then disabling DHCP would prevent devices connecting. Make sure you've reserved the IPs for devices, reboot the router, disable DHCP then check again.
  7. Ah that's great to hear, well done for figuring it out and thanks for posting the solution!
  8. You've changed the interval to 0.5, this is too low and will change packet loss regardless, change it back to the default 2.5 then do it again please
  9. Potentially, factory reset it then see if you can access normally with the default LAN IP then change the IP and see if it works after that
  10. What is the actual page you're seeing when accessing via the web browser? Once you've accessed via the app can you then access via the web browser?
  11. This has been suggested before as you mentioned. Once we've eliminated any remaining issues we'll be looking into user requests to see what we can get added.
  12. I'd suggest testing with downloads while following: https://bit.ly/bufferbloat-test start with a high value e.g 95%, test, decrease 10%, test, decrease 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good, then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. Important to note that Download/Upload on CC don't have to be the same value & you may have a better experience with differing values. This is more of a real world test as you're actually doing traffic you would normally do.
  13. Now disable DHCP/use the router as a DHCP server and see if it continues please
  14. You don't add the router to the VPN you add the individual devices you want the VPN to apply to. Adding a device to the VPN isn't dependent on the VPN provider you use, if the VPN has connected then add the device and it'll work. Where are you measuring the ping, in game or on the Geo-Filter? Disable Steady Ping on the Geo-Filter and the ping should go down.
  15. Go to the firmware topic pinned to the top of Early Access forum https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/
  16. Smoother in what sense? SmartBOOST & Congestion Control should be used to eliminate any local congestion so your ping stays low
  17. Not compatible in what way? We don't have any specific recommendations for VPNs
  18. Glad to hear you were able to get it sorted, thanks for the update!
  19. You just need to do the config, enter your VPN user/password and the router will say if it has connected. Then add the device to the VPN. Using a VPN won't lower your ping, it would raise it and unlikely to make it more stable either so I wouldn't recommend it if that is your goal.
  20. If you can provide screenshots of your QoS/Geo-Filter pages perhaps I can help tweak
  21. That's just physics, there is no way around it - I'd suggest putting your location/radius over central US so you both have a higher ping but neither one of you has to have a really high ping so its more balanced
  22. You'll need to obtain the configuration files from CyberGhost - if you're not sure how send them a message and they can send it to you. Then open the file for the server you want to connect to in a text editor on Windows. Copy the contents and paste into the configuration box on HVPN.
