Not connecting to my nearest server
Netduma Fraser replied to ShinyShelvey's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
If you just toggle the filtering off where you added the device you can see the servers and still ping them but you won't be influencing where you connect so it's a good test to see if the server is available to connect to regardless of the Geo-Filter. -

It may not be active at the moment - can you connect to it with the Geo-Filter disabled? -

Ping Related Issues
Netduma Fraser replied to 11nate's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
The 40ms in Xbox settings is just to a authentication server so it *shouldn't* affect your game ping whatsoever. Are you able to borrow an xbox to test the theory? -
Let me know when you've signed up and I can add you

DumaOS 4 para XR1000
Netduma Fraser replied to Vicmepa's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
My sole job is support, I have nothing to do with making the firmware or the speed at which it is released. Of course I'm not happy with the speed as it only serves to make my job harder, unfortunately it's not solely in our hands, if it was it would be out by now. -
If you could answer the questions then we can figure out what the issues may be, you'd need to email [email protected] regarding that to see if you're eligible for a return.

eFootball 2024 (peer to peer)
Netduma Fraser replied to Nbaasim's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
We are porting a whole new version of DumaOS to a platform it wasn't designed for, this isn't a quick thing to do. -
Do check with a different cable than the one we've sent, there has been an instance in the past where this cable was to blame. Do you get the same issue with the console directly connected to your modem?

The Geo-Filter location is set manually by you, it doesn't adjust based on the VPN location.

My settings for Good Hit detection MW3 <R3 Router
Netduma Fraser replied to Spritekid242's topic in Call of Duty Support
The screenshot above though it seems like on the ISP router you're getting 300 less than 900 - I'm not saying that's causing the issue but if that's not giving you the expected results then results on the R3 will vary as well. Put the device in the DMZ on the R3 then do a test quickly, once done remove it from the DMZ - do not keep it in the DMZ, what do you get?- 194 replies

PS5 SETTINGS MODERN WARFARE, POSSIBLE CONSOLE FIX?
Netduma Fraser replied to meck1's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Yeah it'll only stabilize once you're actually in the game and playing -
What game/device are you playing on at the time of that screenshot? Do you see gaming appearing on the graph when playing? If so it is prioritizing just not showing on the list that it's being detected.

PS5 SETTINGS MODERN WARFARE, POSSIBLE CONSOLE FIX?
Netduma Fraser replied to meck1's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I did but they didn't give me the answers I was after. The killcam isn't going to be a 100% accurate replay of what happened. If you're playing on further away servers then the ping will be higher and the experience will be worse generally. The ping on both looks pretty similar to me but if it's working for you that's all that matters!
