I don't know specifically though with the features we're making e.g. ACC we wouldn't need it for that aspect at all. I suspect we would want/need better hardware if we were going to do things like this though as we push it to the hardware limits as is most of the time. Good suggestions though, I will pass it onto the team!

Have you changed the region on Battle.net? If it's set to Europe there and you're constantly trying to connect to the US it may not work. Have you put your PC in the DMZ or done any port forwarding? You can add the logs here
-
Click on the device you've added on the Geo-Filter then there will be an option to toggle off Filtering
-
But what about when you're specifically in the game playing/just before it, do you see two within the radius - don't include Ireland in your radius, as you've allowed them they don't need to be there but it will help narrow down if there is one that has been missed there
-
So there is likely a server within your UK radius that needs to be allowed that isn't - are you seeing two icons when playing a game within the UK radius?
-
If you disable filtering so you can still see servers on the Geo-Filter do you get a game anywhere without an extended search? Did you make any settings changes or physical setup changes around that time? The test closer the server you tried to force is a server that doesn't always seem available, that and the Italian server, see if you can force a different one in the EU. You've not provided us any logs so I can't really comment on the AI summaries but did you try the 'fixes' it suggested?

Just got full fibre howe do I fix this.

Ahh good to hear, thanks for the update! -
You may be connecting to closer servers and those players are connecting to the same servers, there is nothing that would prevent them doing that. The servers could be under load which would account for the higher ping. You can try filtering with it and it may work, I just wouldn't expect it to work 100% of the time. We have been looking into a solution for it which would require an update to the Geo-Filter functionality itself so it is a possibility we're working on.

Yeah that's a less than useful answer, clearly didn't read it properly. It's possible they didn't update it correctly but also if this is a new upgrade then it can take some time to settle, in which case you may just see the guaranteed speeds for a few days/weeks and then it'll start to improve. Probably best to give them a call to determine exactly what is happening. -
Likely because it thinks the TV is the console and you've added the device you think the console is to the Geo-Filter. Check the IP of the console on the device itself then check the IP on the Device Manager and match up the devices, rename if necessary then re-add it to the Geo-Filter.
-
If the Geo-Filter is preventing servers outside your radius then it's doing its job, if the game doesn't let you in then we can't really do anything - it also isn't the purpose of the feature to force servers that far away. That's unlikely to help but you can give it a try
-
We just need the IDs for the authentication servers, we can't do anything with those US ones if they're in the correct place
-
Thanks for the IDs, I'll pass them onto the team

I think I know who you mean! I do get you and I would like some more focus on that too. What are the issues you're having specifically? -
No nothing else specifically. Okay that's good, it's preventing you getting into a game outside properly. Now you're running into what can happen which is increased search times when forcing servers further away. Depending on when you play the game may also be less lenient about allowing you in.
-
If you disable the Geo-Filter and play does it continue?

I don't recall us ever considering a collaboration with XIM? Back then it was the first product we had, the hardware, the software it was all new to us and people experiencing it so yes there was a lot more dev replies to ensure we caught anything major early. We were also working ourselves to the bone back then as well, it was completely unsustainable. I appreciate the comments and I get where you're coming from. However, I would say that the more time devs are here the less time they're working on what they are supposed to be doing - there is a reason most companies don't have developers be customer facing. Being on the customer side I too would love there to be more frequent builds to eliminate any issues that have been brought up earlier but I also understand why they aren't. From your point of view you can't see the extreme work that is going into developing innovative features that will take it to the next level, that's why it takes longer for updates. All I can say to somewhat reassure you is that after these big features we should be then more able to slow down and tackle any issues after those updates and also hopefully implement some user requests. -
You've switched it back to a PC there with the CoD service, that's why everything is seemingly allowed, switch it back to the way it was before. What settings have you changed from their defaults?

Could you connect it via WiFi and play and see if you get the same issue please?
-
The first ID is a US server so we can correct that - it's also likely why you've been able to connect to it even though its mislocated. You've definitely disabled Geo-Latency in Geo-Filter settings? The second should be in Ireland so that is likely an auth server you need to allow.
-
Could you grab the ID of the one it connected to please? It may be incorrectly located

Just got full fibre howe do I fix this.
Netduma Fraser replied to COD WARFARE's topic in Netduma R3 Support
It could be it, if it's not possible then briefly as a test, remove everything via ethernet to the ISP router other than the R3, disable the WiFi on the ISP router then do a speedtest.net test through the R3. If you get good speeds that'll be it, if not it may not be helping but won't be the main cause -

Okay great, it's unlikely to be a cable now. How have you set your ISP router to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode. Are ALL devices connected to the R3? -
