  1. Okay thank you, while performing the ping/when you notice a spike can you get the logs from the interface please? I can then pass them on to a dev to have a look
  2. Could you factory reset now you've updated and just check again please?
  3. That doesn't mean the router is working without the software - it's a router and in that situation it's acting like a switch so it's not working correctly without the software at all. Topics where more sensitive information may be required are moved to preserve privacy & security. If the update bricks routers and we didn't test it then there would certainly be a lot more noise about it in the Early Access section. You weren't offered to buy another router, the router was determined to be faulty, you're outside the warranty period and we haven't sold the router for years so a replacement couldn't easily be arranged anyway. We could leave it as that but we offered a discount if you wanted to get the R3, we could have offered nothing but knowing how frustrating it is to have a faulty router and as a sign of our gratitude for being a customer that's what we can offer, it's up to you if you want to take it or not. We're on a support forum, that's all I deal with, it doesn't mean 100% of the customer base have the issues.
  4. Does that MAC address match the PC? What are the speeds you pay for/receive? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup QoS/Congestion Control? How is the PC connected, via ethernet or WiFi?
  5. Great to hear that, thanks for confirming!
  6. Is this on the Early Access firmware .645?
  7. You said you changed the ethernet cables before, did that include the ones connected the devices to the R3? Check the other LAN ports with this test and see if you get the same results please
  8. Do the same test but with the R3 IP address, what do you get?
  9. Last I heard the thinking was it would need a firmware update to solve, which given there hasn't been an update for 4 years, would be unlikely. Currently exploring other workarounds and will come back to you. If it is DPI then in theory disabling QoS fully from the Congestion Control menu might help.
  10. Correct, you wouldn't be able to solve that. Generally in the case of ISP congestion there isn't much you can do except perhaps switch to a provider that isn't as subscribed to in your area.
  11. Based on the other topic you posted in where mannrs replied to you, it doesn't sound like you're running the Internet Optimiser features we support so you'd need to go through Telstra support directly for support with your issue
  12. Good to hear! It's a PC, it doesn't matter if it's a laptop or PC, keep it as you have it set now and it will work just fine
  13. Are you using PPPoE/VLAN/IPv6? If so that is likely the cause. Have your ISP modem/router handle PPPoE/VLAN instead and then it should work again correctly.
  14. Do this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client
  15. We were able to upgrade you to the 4.0 update please have a look to see if that's correct
  16. Could you provide a video of the process you're going through from start to finish?
  17. You'd still have to change your radius based on what servers you want, you just won't need to select each game every time
  18. He's not had a moment to try unfortunately but I've left him a message to try again in the morning. If your public IP has changed please make sure to post here again
  19. That's precisely the reason you should do it, it would cover all the games without you having to manually change it all the time
  20. That likely is the server you're playing on then, why it appears blocked and still allowing you through is a bit odd - feels like there must be another server it is relaying you to get that server. Do this: Do this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Does it behave more as you would expect after that?
  21. Not the Heatmap ping, what does the blocked triangle ping at? Factory reset certainly wouldn't hurt
  22. As in, on your phone, connect to the R3 WiFi again
