  1. Like a local news or local government site for example How did you disable SmartBOOST exactly? Are you using HybridVPN, Adblocker, Internet Rules or made any port forwarding rules/using the DMZ etc?
  2. Can you show it with a more local site and the 2.5 interval please?
  3. You don't need this now as the DumaOS version from it is on the latest public version of the firmware
  4. This usually only happens when the main interface isn't accessible, are you able to access via a PC? I've given you Early Access so if you can access the interface via a PC you can upgrade which should prevent the issue happening again https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/
  5. That's the desktop view, I mean the dumaweb view from the screenshot above that, does Ping Heatmap work that way?
  6. You don't need this now as the DumaOS version from it is on the latest public version of the firmware
  7. It's a mobile optimized version for the web browser. Okay and what about in the mobile version of the interface instead of the app?
  8. That's the DumaOS version so probably the latest then. Does it work when you access via the web browser on a PC?
  9. What firmware version are you on currently? Have you resynced the cloud and tried again?

  11. When connecting directly to the ONT it's not doing any routing to different devices so there aren't any delays there with the routing and there also aren't any devices that can compete with your device so yes, if you're connecting directly to a pure modem/ONT assuming the WAN side is all good then it's always going to be better than a router because of those reasons but that's not very practical for a home network. Using IPv6 isn't really comparable to connecting direct to the ONT.
  12. Have you specifically tried different Congestion Control percentages when using IPv6 to see if you can make it better?
  13. Did the game specifically say you were experiencing packet loss? What was your ping, was it fluctuating a lot? How do you have Congestion Control set? If you take the modem out of bridge and instead put the R3 in its DMZ do you get the same issue?
  14. Having a fixed IPv4 doesn't have any impact on how well IPv6 would work - have you adjusted values when using IPv6 to see if it works better? We have made improvements to IPv6 over different firmware versions so there isn't a specific reason it would do worse if you've found the best Congestion Control percentages for IPv6 specifically. What are the results you're getting?
  15. You may need to adjust the percentages based on your connection method. What if you do an IPv6 only test, what are the results like? Where are you doing the test?
  16. DNS get a lot of traffic, it would be better to use a more local website that doesn't get worldwide traffic. Okay thanks. How do you have Congestion Control set? Just to be clear, you're doing these via ethernet? Where was it that you were seeing packet loss originally? If you take the modem out of bridge and instead put the R3 in its DMZ do you get the same issue?
  17. Thanks and you!
  18. Use a local website rather than google e.g. a news site and with the 2.5 interval what do you get? Can you post a 10 minute plot of that please?

  20. You've got the interval set too low, even PingPlotter themselves say that setting is likely to show packet loss. What do you get with the default 2.5?
  21. You said the hops are showing packet loss but does the bottom graph show packet loss? Can you provide a screenshot of the results please? Based on what you said I'd suggest switching out the cable connecting the router to the modem as it may be a simple fix
  22. The latest public firmware from NTGR for the XR1000 has the beta version of DumaOS so that's not needed but I've given you the R3 Early Access https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/
  23. Speeds is a common starting issue and almost always resolvable, it's nothing to do with PPPoE in this case
