  1. That's probably why then, take that out and check again after rebooting the PC. It's also a major security issue putting your PC in the DMZ, you should never do it.
  2. Auto should be triggering already - to check if it is disable speed test bypass and do a speed test, it should be limited to the speeds shown with the percentages you've set. No correlation to NAT no. Add back your port forwards but make it more simple by consolodating it to 3 rules: UDP/TCP 3074 UDP/TCP 27000 - 27050 UDP 3478 – 4380 Then restart the PC and check the NAT again - still with the Geo-Filter disabled.
  3. If it's a stable 9 then makes sense why it's better without, its so low already that you're doubling it with SP
  4. SP raises your ping to keep it steady so if your ping was low but steady already then it's possible you might have a better experience without
  5. Have you put your PC in the DMZ or done any port forwarding rules or internet rules?
  6. Make sure to close that completely including from the system tray. Everything else looks fine
  7. That's right yes - 30% is super low, I'd be surprised if it needed to be that low, set it to 70% each for download & upload and see if that performs better. That's a mislocated server, should be Brazil by the looks of the ID. Was the game & game client (e.g. Steam etc) closed completely, including from the System Tray and then the Geo-Filter was enabled before you launched them?
  8. I really appreciate all the additional information, a lot of people give less than needed and you've provided more so that's a nice change! Based on what you've said the NAT is likely reporting incorrectly, i.e. showing moderate but actually open so please do the following: Pick whether you want to use the bridge mode or DMZ mode, bridge will make it so you can't use the Sagem for anything really including WiFi so if you're happy with that it would be the ideal scenario though DMZ isn't a bad option you'd just have to ensure ALL devices connect to the R3 if you want total control over the network. If you go for the DMZ option then give the R3 itself a static/reserved IP on the Sagem - this will ensure that the DMZ is still valid after rebooting either device (the IP of the R3 may change otherwise and the DMZ would then be invalid). If you're using bridge mode you can ignore this. You can remove all the port forwarding rules now. Just to cover all bases reboot the Sagem, wait 2 minutes, then reboot the R3, wait 4 minutes. Ensure you don't have the game or game client e.g. steam open or active in the system tray Remove your device from the Geo-Filter Launch the game/client, does it show Open now? If so it is a misreading, you can now enable the Geo-Filter and ignore when it says moderate from now on as it will actually be open. If you're interested and that was the cause, the Geo-Filter is blocking the server it uses to test your NAT status, as it can't reach the test server it just defaults to showing moderate as all other connection indicators will appear fine. So it's not that your NAT IS moderate, just that it can't confirm that it isn't if that makes sense. Regarding your Congestion Control settings, if you haven't setup SmartBOOST then it won't be doing anything at all - auto means it will only trigger if SmartBOOST is triggering/active. So it's entirely up to you, ensure you have SmartBOOST setup how you want i.e. prioritize gaming and then when you are gaming it will be prioritized and Congestion Control will trigger or switch it to Always so it will always apply. Regardless though at 99% it's essentially doing nothing anyway. I'd suggest starting with 70% for download & upload and going from there, adjusting if needed.
  9. Geo-Latency/Ping Assist is in your first picture which you've disabled so that's good, just make sure to load in the way I mentioned. As your PC is set as a console in Device Manager (which I would recommend you keep so that the Geo-Filter does say All Games, having it selected for just CoD may reduce its effectiveness) it may pick up other things that are using ports above 1024 which is likely why you see a server there. I can't see what your Congestion Control settings are, you'd have to scroll down more on that window.
  10. That is the latest from us yes and would advise you stay on that one instead of going to some of the more recent public versions - they don't have anything different
  11. We'll fix the PPPoE issue, thanks for letting us know. Disable Geo-Latency and Ping Assist, make sure you're enabling the Geo-Filter before you launch the game/client and if you change Geo-Filter settings while on the game then reboot the game and it should all stay within your radius. We're aware Ping Optimizer isn't 100% reliable currently but the ping at the start is your base ping - the ping you have before you do anything on the internet so it's established what that is to the server it is using (the ping won't be the same as wherever you may see your ping). It then simulates a heavily used network and re-tests the ping, this is where you'll see an increase in the ping. It then repeats the tests but adjusts the Congestion Control percentages to find the percentages that allow you to have a heavily used network with minimal difference in your ping. So what you described is the optimal outcome and exactly what you want it to be doing.
  12. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode How have you/Ping Optimizer setup Congestion Control? Don't necessarily trust the suggestion from PO and do your own fine tuning to determine the best percentages that give you the best ping
  13. Thanks again, the team will take a look on Monday and do more testing overall
  14. Pinned to the top of this section: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/
  15. Enabled how exactly as its not an on/off feature. What about Congestion Control (Ping Optimizer > Advanced) as that is what will eliminate lag for the most part.
  16. Added, if you're still having issues after that make a topic and we'll be happy to help.
  17. No major differences in the process, just enter the details I mentioned/they say that is needed, verify you get internet, connect the Sky router to the R3, if possible set it in AP mode and that's it. Don't need to disable WiFi on the R3 unless you specifically want all WiFi devices to connect to the Sky router.
  18. Are ALL devices still connected to the router? How have you set Congestion Control/SmartBOOST?
  19. Its sufficient but its end of service and on very old software and won't receive any more updates. I'd suggest a second hand XR500 instead if you could get one on budget
  20. I can't guarantee that, networking has many variables, if there are closer servers to you then it is possible you could improve your ping. I would however strongly suggest you don't get the XR300 and choose a different model, ideally our own Netduma R3 which is current and so latest software and will continue to get updates.
  21. If you're connecting to far servers then you should definitely try with the Geo-Filter to get lower ping servers closer to home. Then just your usual Congestion Control settings to eliminate local congestion and prioritizing your device should do the trick.
  22. Added. The servers that appear on Ping Heatmap don't affect your ability to connect to servers, you can still use the Geo-Filter to force the servers you want to connect to, assuming the servers are still available
  23. Added. If it's not disconnecting then I don't think that's related to PPPoE. I'd suggest making a new topic and we can help further there
  24. As long as the router is in the Vodafone DMZ and you have all devices connected to the router (none to the vodafone router) then no it's nothing to do with bridge mode or the router itself. It's very likely just a higher player count at the moment putting strain on the servers - I believe they use the same servers every year so the same servers are probably being used for both games at the same time
