Very nice. I can't wait to try this to see if it fixes my issues. Is the beta going well to warrant an official release soon?

UK'er's are gonna get the beta first and depending on how that goes the rest of us will get the update at a later date.

Yah I knew that. The beta is already underway. I was asking for an admin or Lian how things were going.

I did a rigorous testing of the Maximum Throughput that I am getting and the results are quite amazing.

Do note that 'up to 900Mbps' is considered as a Theoretical Speed. And with more thorough testing by many users, we can get the real Throughput of the router on the new firmware.

The Netduma sure comes close to being a true replacement router other than just for gaming.

This is a dream..

Exactly our 150 down is measly compared to what they get in Singapore. Warp Speed Download and Upload!

Yes we've found a few more bugs that have now been fixed and undergoing a bit more testing, seems to be going very well, so should be out soon :)

Thanks for the response Crossy, what exactly is it patching then?

The update includes these things:

Ok here is the plan. I'm going to release the minor update beta to UK based users next weekend (Sep 13th). This will include:

  • Optional password control
  • 900mbit speed increase (turbo mode)
  • MSS clamping for hopefully faster VPN bandwidth
  • Some other minor goodies

Any ETA, say end of this week maybe?

I opened it up for further testing today, so assuming that goes well then yes I would estimate by the end of the week :)
