  1. The main functionality of the router won't be changed by cloud updates, only by firmware, for the Geo-Filter we only update the classification so whether it's a peer or server, the location of a peer/server and whether we add a server to the whitelist or updating a service but none of those would have affected it. On the PC itself take a look at the IP address then on the Device Manager look at the device you believe to be the PC, do the IPs match?
  2. I have let the team know and they should push an update tomorrow
  3. Did you follow all the steps again, if you're already on the game then it likely wouldn't detect. We recommend it because the specific services can get out of date which is what I thought could possibly have happened here.
  4. Did you do step 3 & 5 from my steps? As it should be added with the Games Console service instead of Fortnite which should then work
  5. Resync the cloud, then re-ping the game does it appear then?
  6. For name changing you should do that on the Device Manager, in LAN Settings the Netgear side of things will see the names as their defaults but that is being worked on syncing with the DumaOS side as you see your device names all over the main DumaOS pages compared to settings. If reserved IPs you have set are different to the ones the devices have currently then either rebooting the devices or the router will force them to grab their new reserved IP. You can see firmware progress here, where we update it weekly with any changes: http://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000132677-dumaos-firmware-progress Generally the interface can be sped up by clearing your browser cache/cookies then once each page of the router has been loaded once it should be faster.
  7. We haven't changed anything on our end, try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager (if on PC) Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works. Also, if you're not aware, the way that Fortnite matchmaking works is that it will only try to connect to a server when it's loading into the pre-game run around lobby so the fastest way to filter would actually be to disable Filtering Mode but use it to see where the game puts you - if it is too far away or the ping is too high then quit and re-search - this will be faster than waiting for it to kick you.
  8. What is the model of the Arris modem you are using?
  9. Thanks for the information, a few people have reported it, we're looking into it and hope to have it resolved for the next version.
  10. Thanks for the information, we'll update the ticket with this and hopefully we can get to the bottom of it.
  11. It's in WAN Settings "Allow Remote access to tech support"
  12. What is the firmware version you're currently on? Is there anything that changed in your network when you noticed the lag, new devices, changed settings etc? It may sound counter-intuitive but you could try with one IPv6 option enabled so LAN on, WAN off and vice versa and see if that has any affect please?
  13. Thanks for the report, we'll take a look!
  14. What is the model of the modem/router the R2 is connected to? If you remove it from the DMZ and delete the reserved IP does it get IPv6 then?
  15. Could you enable Remote Support in WAN Settings please and let us know when you have done that? We will enable remote logging so we get some information when you get the disconnect.
  16. Do you have access to the interface when you have a disconnect?
  17. Thanks for the feedback, we'll add it to the list to be potentially added in future!
  18. Ah yes looks like you rebooted after. If you're able to get it connected again and can get a log when it disconnects that would be really helpful
  19. Thanks for that, around what time did it occur? Then we can try to match it up with the log
  20. That should be fine thanks, also do you see anything in the logs on the VPN page?
  21. As long as you followed the process above you will end up in a server within your radius even if it tries to force one elsewhere, it may just take a little longer
  22. No that is controlled by the service, e.g. Netflix, you would just need to find a VPN that hasn't been blocked by the affected services.
  23. They can support it but they can't prevent services blocking their known VPN IP addresses, some providers offer a free trial in which case you could try it to see if that is the problem with no monetary obligation.
  24. For CoD it's a server based game so the peers are very likely servers that are misclassified, in which case there won't be much difference. It could be they're appearing as peers because they're new servers which could explain why they perform better.
