Sorry I meant the Network Monitor on the router to see if any other devices are using a lot of bandwidth
-
Interesting, have a look at the Network Monitor while playing a video, is there anything else using significant bandwidth? Quite possible, especially if it's just the PC with the issue - looks like you're using Chrome? Which is a particularly resource hungry web browser. Try another browser/clear your cache/cookies and see if that changes anything. Close any unused applications that might be consuming unnecessary RAM.

If you disable QoS fully from the Congestion Control menu and then try, do you notice a difference?
-
Could you disable Adblocker please and then see if the quality/speed is better?

Correct Setup (Help Required)
Netduma Fraser replied to alex.devine's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
The IPs are local so that's normal. Yes everything should be connected to the XR for QoS to work optimally, if the Sky Glass is connected to the BT Hub then that is probably why you're getting lag as the XR can't control it. Disabling the WiFi on the BT hub would be a good idea to prevent any automatic/accidental connections to it. -
Okay so it's possibly just a browser issue, go ahead and update, factory reset after then accessing using an incognito window again and see if it is working
-
The video isn't working, would you be able to upload it again? Unplug the router for 10 minutes, plug in, wait 2 minutes, hold the reset button for 30 seconds, release, wait 2 minutes then attempt access.

Error on WIFI channel and WIFI suddenly stop working.
Netduma Fraser replied to thewilloxdiaz's topic in Netduma R1 Support
The only thing there that could have caused it is DHCP. It looks like you've set a lot of devices with reserved IPs, double check you've done every device, then disable the DHCP server completely, reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes then see if the disconnections continue please. -

Is that all that was in the log? There should be a lot more than that. The disconnect happened with the last entries of the last log? -

If you rebooted between the disconnect and now then it won't have any useful information in it and so would need it after the disconnect before a reboot. If you didn't reboot then the log will have the information in, just let us know the rough time it occurred so we can match it to the log. -

Yes please! Then just upload it here and we can take a look at it and see what may be happening. -

Could you grab the log file from the System Information page when the disconnect happens please and hopefully there will be some more information there -

When you're rebooting are you doing so by pulling the power by any chance? If so reboot via the interface, this acts as a hard save so if you do unplug it should save your settings
-
Unfortunately not, we don't provide ETAs anymore, are you in early access? That would give you the best chance to try new firmware early
-
I'm surprised you're getting such a low ping to a server in Canada, could you provide the ID for one of those servers please?
-
The ping on the Geo-Filter will be without processing delay (which all games have) so in game ping will be a bit higher. What are your QoS settings currently?
-
How are you performing the test via CLI exactly, using iperf? What do you get using speedtest.net? It's quite possibly due to PPPoE, if you put the XR500 in front of the R2 to handle PPPoE instead and have the R2 behind it what do you get then?
-
