  1. Would expect to see higher than that generally, depends what you're doing, are you seeing any issues along side this?
  2. It's worth noting that bufferbloat occurs when your network is saturated, with your speeds and with QoS enabled this wouldn't happen, especially if you're just gaming, in which case you would not experience spikes like that in game. Traffic Prioritization can also interfere with that test. Best bet is to use PingPlotter, according to this guide, while downloading (specifically this, HD videos will not saturate your connection due to your speeds) http://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000074717-how-to-test-your-internet-ping and experiment with the percentages to find what keeps the ping as low/stable as possible on the bottom graph.
  3. I can reproduce this so I'll pass it onto the team to fix, if you're playing on that server the Geo-Filter should give you your live ping to it
  4. I suspect you've been doing a lot of streaming/downloading or some other high bandwidth application which would account for the received packets being a lot higher than transmitted
  5. When you click on the server it should open a panel underneath the main panel showing the IP and ping, you may need to scroll down, does this appear?
  6. On PingPlotter the main thing to focus on is the bottom graph and you're not receiving packet loss there and your connection is quite stable!
  7. They're independent features, unprioritized packets don't mean the same thing on both. Your connection has a little bit of packet loss, which is why you're seeing unprioritized packets on the System Information page. Your unprioritized packets represent 0.01% of your total received packets so it is nothing really, you would not notice any difference with that, it is within normal parameters so you can safely ignore it. As to why others see 0 it just depends on their ISP etc.
  8. Although the number seems big, in comparison to received packets it is a very minute percentage and therefore within normal parameters so nothing to worry about
  9. Hey, welcome to the forum! In theory yes but their implementation prevents you searching if a server is blocked so it may not work. It's something we will continue to try and look at, there are a few things we're looking at specifically but it will take time, it may not even work.
  10. Are you referring to Traffic Prioritization? If so that is quite normal, unprioritized packets is your normal traffic isn't covered by your Traffic Prioritization rule e.g. web browsing, downloading, streaming etc so absolutely nothing to worry about.
  11. @TigerSSorry to hear about the fees, unfortunately customs fees aren't something we can control. It was likely opened by customs to check the contents, we always package it so you'll be the first to open it. The power supply requires a fixed voltage but accepts a varied current so you're absolutely fine to use it. Yes the vents are on the underside so it's not advised to put it on a carpet but you can put it on a table for example. That is the version it comes with and you were right to upgrade and reset on the latest!
  12. I'd suggest enabling share excess and resetting Bandwidth Allocation, in regards to Traffic Controller I don't personally think that is needed - you have NAT set to Open so the game should be able to communicate over the necessary ports without the controller rule. I would suggest using the WAN option, if your ISP supports priority tags it will be beneficial, if it doesn't then there is no harm having it enabled.
  13. Put the upload percentage a lot lower, some people feel that heavily throttling this gives them a better experience. Also try making a manual rule for the PC and add it as a Games Console and see if you notice any difference there.
  14. Thank you for the information. So a couple of things, gaming really doesn't need that much bandwidth, the maximum it would use would be around 1Mbps and that would be when you're hosting, if you're not hosting it will be a lot less. If you specifically got these speeds for gaming then it is overkill as 99% will go unused when playing. Therefore the QoS settings that have been made to allocate more bandwidth to the PC is unnecessary. Also given your high speeds, QoS is less needed as you are unlikely to experience bufferbloat (which happens when the entire connection is being used) so you're sort of applying rules to the connection when it isn't needed, this could be why it's better off vs on. If you do have QoS on the ISP modem/router (if it's not a pure modem) then that could be another reason having QoS on the XR as well wouldn't give a good in game feeling. What is the modem/router the XR is connected to? That being said, your upload speed in comparison to download is much lower, so you could try with Congestion Control set to 100% for download, 70% for upload and see if it makes a difference. With the manual Traffic Prioritization setting that has been added, do you ever see the packets update for it when playing? If not that could be another reason you're not noticing an improvement.
  15. Hey, welcome to the forum! A few quick questions before we get into it: Is this PC the only device being used in your home? If not, is it the only device being used actually when playing? Under what circumstances was the PingPlotter test done? E.g. WiFi, ethernet, nothing using the internet, QoS on/off
  16. It's likely PPPoE, can the ISP modem/router handle this instead of the XR? If so does QoS then work correctly?
  17. Could you provide a screenshot of your Geo-Filter please? If you disable the device on the Geo-Filter so it's not filtering but you can still see the servers, what do you ping to the Texas server when you get it?
  18. Ahh well done for figuring it out and thanks for posting the solution!
  19. This is something we've seen a few times recently, our conclusion is that some of the servers on the West Coast are no longer used or used during peak times/busy periods as with or without it seems to default towards the East unfortunately
  20. I'll double check with Liam and Alex on this and get back to you!
  21. On the XR go to Settings > Internet Setup, from there select you need a login and you can enter the PPPoE details - make sure to select Always connect. Then you can go to VLAN in Advanced Settings, click the existing Internet rule and change the tag to 500 and you should be good to go.
  22. Yeah on Halo, I'll check in with Liam and see what settings he was using specifically
  23. Try disabling cross play and see if that makes a difference
  24. You don't necessarily need to add it as a TV and add ports, keep it as a PlayStation and it will be appeared greyed out and apply to the whole device - are you following the guide from the user in the other topic?
  25. Oh I see, are you using it through HybridVPN? If so how have you added your device to HybridVPN?
